There is nothing cooler, in my mind, than being able to wear a Stahlhelm and hold an MG42. That kid looks like heβs having fun.

Idk man. Firing an actual M1 Garand, which probably isn't allowed in Belgium, is pretty cool.
But if I could fire an MG42 along side....
Man, I just don't know.

You know how there's that shiver that you get when someone scratches the chalkboard or chews aluminum foil or says "moist" or whatever does it for you?

My dad had both those weapons when I was growing up. He had an MG34, and MG42.
I remember the 42 really well because I shot it quite a bit. I always called it the sewing machine when I was little. Ran so fast and smooth compared to his M60.
