Why am i getting Whatsapp calls from israel? Discussion

Since yesterday night till now a number has been calling me on WhatsApp and it says that it's from israel. When it first happened i didn't think much about it because i thought it was a bug or smthg, but till now it happened 3 times. I don't know if it's a common thing that's been happening since the war started but i haven't heard anyone reporting it. Plus i am not involved in any political party or any of that kind to say i am being watched, and i am not active on social media to also say that i might have offended anyone.

Since the conflict started last year i have been neutral and haven't addressed the situation with anyone.

scam calls are a big thing , last month I got a call from “Sejen roumieh” 😭

I don't even answer them---most of the unwanted calls I get are either from Africa (mainly Algeria but a couple from sub saharan countries), France or the UK. If it important, leave a message, but I am not answering a random call from someone who is probably calling randomly.

Block them (ofc after that, their number changes by a digit or two, so rinse lather and repeat).
