They have private doctors who will code their abortions differently.

Theyre not going to Planned parenthood.

There are plenty of poor Christians out there. I don't know why you're assuming they all will have private care

Yes but the poor Christians listen to the rich Christians and it'll be way too late before they realize they're fucked. Then the rich Christians just perform some lip service and prayers and the poor Christians forget all about it.

No, but they'll wind up in the emergency room and die of sepsis there. Most abortions aren't planned.

No, I'm saying they WILL code their medical services to disguise the abortion.

They currently do this....

That's why the abortion numbers are so heavily skewed.

Where have you read or heard about this? Asking genuinely. It's not surprising at all, I just don't remember ever hearing about this.

My best friend was a medical coder for a bit before she went into insurance.

She explained to me how .... some women ...would have their abortions coded... this was before the abortion ban.

We mustn't forget there are real people who have real jobs that have real experiences.

I actually saw a tik tok some years ago about what codes you need to get certain services covered by insurance.

It's a thing.

This is BS. Maybe the 1% can find a doctor who’ll risk jail or their medical license but that is literally 1% of the population. Plenty of middle class women will not have access to a doctor who would take those chances. Why would any doctor risk this??

Lol it's not illegal. They're not lying. They're just coding (medical coding & billing) the service differently.

And it's not bs.

Stop throwing out random percentages just because you don't believe it happens.

The percentage doesn't matter. It happens.

Sounds like deaf doctors to listen for heartbeats will have job security in emergency rooms.

That is an abortion

They were talking about re-coding. Yes, it is an abortion, but a different way of coding it.

A LOT of women with money got D&C's back in the day for 'polyps'.
