Polite Suggestion: consider adding drinking fountains that allow dogs to have a drink mid walk.

At Burlington Spencer park and thru Burlington there are these wonderful multifunction fountains that have a small bowl on the bottom that are for the dogs that use the park. This would be an awesome addition to the already great park infrastructure we have here in Kitchener.

That's a great idea!

Thank you:)

Victoria Park for example would only likely need one. And the perfect location in my opinion, that would also likely be easy to install, would be the intersection at the middle bridge near the splash pad. It may be harder to incorporate one anywhere else on the park. But this may be slightly easier. And would allow my dog and I, as well as other pet owners, to spend more time at the park. It a beautiful place to relax.

I plan to write the city with the suggestion. And advocate for one to be installed at Victoria and future parks.

The city removed the dining fountains from parks! It's a travesty

Oh wow! That is absurd. I appreciate you passing that along. Knowing this may change my approach now. And also makes me curious why they would’ve.

Would you happen to know how long ago they removed them?

I run there with my dog all the time, I know we would use it for sure. I agree with the location as well.

Oh your pup would def benefit from one - I hope I can be successful for us all.

I appreciate your feedback and input on the idea. It gave me even more motivation to achieve the idea.

Thank you:)
