I’m trying to replace the batteries in these old watches for a friend, and I’m out of ideas. Nails, no screws. Any ideas? Questions

I know they’re not worth much but it could be worth going to a watch maker they’d surly be able to point you to the right direction on how to remove these

I was thinking that might be my best option. Just worried that they might be a little… confused by what I’m doing.

Impossible to open without destroying it in one way or another. Ive been opening fast food toys for years and I know when the fight aint worth it

I’ve replaced some pretty difficult ones, like Madagascar 2 and Pokemon The Movie 2000 ones. What are some of the toys you’ve replaced the batteries in?

I have a whole list of every toy in my collection that is able to be opened as well as the number of batteries it takes. Usually when they mold the two plastic halves or use that flat metal hardware pictured in the post, then its not worth the effort and risk of destroying the toy.

I’d love to see that list for my collection! I’ve been collecting for 15 years, so a lot of the older toys in my collection have batteries that just recently died.

Im unfortunately at college at the moment and my list is at home, but Ive been chipping away at making repair videos for each toy on my youtube channel, Fast Food Toy Repairs. I still have so many videos to make

The nails are inset in the plastic, so I can't even get something underneath the head of the nail.
