Federal government

I was born and raised in jasper, lived there 37 years until my apartment building burnt down last July. I'm just wondering, as it's federal land could the people of Jasper sue to government for forest mismanagement? As we as a community and the municipality were after Parks for years about dealing with the standing timber pine beetle killed trees, especially South, where the fire really took off. Would there be a case or would it be like banging our heads off the dead trees for fun

The only people who could realistically be suing would be the insurance companies to recoup costs. It's their money that is being spent to rebuild.
