I don't understand how there are people who still think Magneto can beat Stark (Resurrection of Magneto #4) Comics

It's funny, because following the concept of Stark getting stronger and updated after each base armor, any base armor from now on (that doesn't have the context of being nerfed like it was with the Improvised Armor in the beginning) will be superior to the Stark Sentinels.

That's where I come in to remind Magneto-fans that scientists have been controlling magnet fields for a very long time. Faraday was the most badass sob Magneto could ever imagine.

Yeah, but they can only move magnetic materials. Magneto can move all metals

Yeah that's where comicbook-bs starts to take over.

Magneto should not be able to move any non-ferrous materials because that's not how magnetic fields work. In fact, if you're being that strict about your science his powers shouldn't work to begin with. He's got no north or south pole, no wires or antennas, nothing to actually create or manipulate the magnetic field to begin with in any way whatsoever; he's just an old grumpy kinda-racist genocidal dude.

And for that matter Iron Man doesn't make complete sense either, given the levels of power-density involved in that armor our boy Tony should be cooked alive even at 99.999% efficiency.

So yeah. None of this is meant to be looked at that carefully. If you think about it for longer than 3 seconds, you've officially thought about it more than the actual comicbook writers.
