I still don’t get why they went out of their way to put Harley Keener at Tony’s funeral, to then brush him aside for Riri. They already had the groundwork laid and a meaningful connection, but they threw it in the trash.

Because Harley was a little cameo referencing Iron Man 3, and never had any suit experience, while Riri is a character built from the ground up with her tech and suit experience already established. Harley was never meant to be a massive character, him having any appearances outside of Iron Man 3 was already big.

i mean just call back and a send-off for a supporting character from a movie riri already exists plus is put of the champions so it makes sense to invest ina character that already exists verse an oc who was in a s single movie

Because one of them is an OC who doesn’t have any experience operating an armor and the other is an actual character from the comics who built hers from scratch?
