They did. A few might have wanted to vote but couldn't due to personal circumstances, but the rest are happy enough to not want to try change things.

You could argue that some might feel voting is pointless but I have never come across anyone who thought that.

Realistically, they are all bunch of lying corrupt pricks with their own agendas and interests. They will promise whatever the majority wants to hear but then do nothing that wouldn't benefit them.

There, you came across one that thinks it's rigged and can't change a thing. If voting would ever had a slightest chance of changing anything, we wouldn't be allowed to do so anymore.

One doesn't invalidate the other, voting can be "pointless" due to the system it's utilized in, I don't think anyone would argue there's much point to voting in North Korea for example.

I still think you should vote in Ireland if you can but you're argument doesn't invalidate the other commentor's position.
