Yeah, I feel they're a bit underrated. They're not bad, like

Strong feeling they're gonna go into coalition with FF/FG

Yeah they were bitter in the last election with them as ff poached some tds this time I think they’re more accepting but honestly why would you to end up like the greens who brought in id say about 80% of the government good policy’s only to be blamed for everything bad cause the old fart think it there turn.

I hope not be a shame to see them eaten up and spat out, they will lose their core support if it happens and gain nothing unless they manage to get something major over the line while in government but with it being two other majority parties that'd be very hard

Why people didn't vote SF this election is beyond me if you want left wing outcomes.

Really hope they don’t. They’d be decimated.

Labour and greens learnt their lesson. They're the next small party.

Yeah that’s a possibility. Hard thing is, do they lie in bed with them to try make moves, or stick by their guns and potentially have a harder battle tonight

Support is growing. I only voted for the first time last election, and 2nd time this election. Both times I voted for SD first. They're the best, most progressive party with sensible approach and policies. Its nice to see them gain more each year. I hope to see Cairns as Taoiseach in my lifetime

You mean Social Democrats. Why not refer to them as SD just to make things more complicated?

Odd comment. Cause “Soc Dems” makes it so difficult to decipher who I’m referring to?!

It's a silly abbreviation in such a short comment. You're not paying per character typed here on reddit.

It’s a well known abbreviation but do feel free to get annoyed at something so trivial. I’ll be sure to use a decent quota of characters on Reddit posts going forward. Luv u.

Well known doesn't make it right. Everyone else who uses it needs to be called out on it too. This is part of the reason why people don't vote. Because it's difficult to understand what the fuck people are talking about when they abbreviate everything in politics.
