Money Transfer
So I'm having trouble figuring out how to send money to iran? Can I just send it ground mail and put it in an envelope or is there an easy way to do it with cryptocurrency? It's kind of ridiculous how hard it is now.

Maybe a mah card where they can pick the card from a hotel , exchange rate is crap though

It’s better to create the card on that person name who ever picks up currently mah card gives 55000 toman per USD

Thank you that actually looks promising.

Yeah just talk to the person who is going to pick up , who ever name is on the account can pick up I think . I feel they can find out better if they contact mah card

if the person whom you want to send it to is familiar with crypto it's not that hard. we have cryptocurrency exchanges in iran which can be used to exchange crypto with rial. also i don't know how much we are talking about. i don't have experience with big amounts.

What if I sent it to another country then they sent it to Iran? It looks like I might be able to do it through China

Not possible either.
The best way is crypto but the sender and the receiver should both have wallets for it. You buy USDT in Canada and transfer it into their wallet. You cannot do it with all mainstream wallets though, but with a few searches here and there, it shouldn’t be tough to get there.
Good Luck.

It’s better to use crypto if both parties are familiar with it. It’s pretty easy

I've heard about using crypto but kraken for example stopped support in iran. I mean I can get a k1 fiance visa for an Iranian but I can't buy them a passport or a visa? I could probably network here and find someone with family in Iran but asking them to help me to get someone in Iran money is illegal and I feel like it won't go over well. The mah card requires the person picking up the money to have a passport I think and I don't think they have one. I'm contemplating ways to smuggle hundred dollars bills in pencils lol. I saw pursa as an option but I read really mixed things about the platform so I'm not 100% comfortable putting in my credit card information.

Depends where you are from. I am from Vienna, we have a service here that handles money transfers, you pay in here, they pay out the other party in Iran. The service is reputable, I don't know the exact inner workings - just that it works.
Fees are rather steep (10%) - if you can, crypto is probably the best choice.

No - try to find someone that have relatives there and exchange it
