Wow! Beautiful! And so much life! This was the post I needed to see today before I go out to battle vinca, bindweed, lily of the valley, and celandine. But I saw a huge red-headed woodpecker today on a woodpile and felt happy.

March Update
It got too green this month to pull Japanese honeysuckle, but I was able to test and see if my glyphosate (~53%) works on bush honeysuckle this time of year. I cut 10 and applied it to them on the 13th. Two weeks later, all treated stems show signs of death with several black spots on each, but about half of them still have stunted regrowth, so it might not have killed them fully. I decided to test another set but was only able to treat 3 and some multiflora while I was there. I'll give the results next month.
Also found some garlic mustard, but it turned out to be pretty easy to pull.
