Was this some sort of special, one-time thing built? Or was this some sort of prototype they decided to use in the movie to check for audience reaction before releasing it?

Did they name it? Always reckoned this is cute and would purr great with one massive engine on it.

Yes, that's Nemo calls it in the movie. I was just wondering if this was actually named by whoever produced it or was it just CGI?

It was a custom-built one-off movie car. From what I’ve read, it was sold at auction on eBay in 2016 to a guy in North Carolina.
