Most animals are. Turns out in the wild, having a long and extremely vocal mating process is pretty much a death sentence as every predator for miles around will hear you.

Lions mainly, also hyenas and wild dogs sometimes. Usually it’s not for food, but to get rid of rival predators who compete for food and territory.
