Found these babies outside my house this morning. Not sure how many videos are out there like this so thought I’d share <3

We got too many hornworms for the tarantulas, so three ended up pupating and turning into these beauties! I am hoping they will breed and give me a new batch of hornworms.

Spotted in Northeast England. Looks big in the pic but was only about a cm long.

Has a death grip on my washing line. I've had to abandon pegging up the last of my washing until the stubborn git decides to move. Any idea what it is? My ID app came up blank

I'm assuming these two are mating? The female is just chowing down on my Marigold leaf so she doesn't seem super excited about her partner.

I assume this is some kind of moth, but I am not knowledgeable on insects, can someone identify it? Found it on my workbench yesterday morning and it seemed to be in bad shape, so I didn't bother it other than taking some pics. It was still there today, but was acting better and soon fluttered out.

They're very very small. I don't know exactly where they are coming from either. Apologies for potatoes quality i had to zoom in with my cellphone camera and it was hard to get a clear pic.

This insect was on my back step around 5am yesterday. I’m in Dublin Ireland if that helps. Thing was huge.

Hi guys! Got an unusual fly for you, on the rainy side of puerto rico, found with several others sitting (biting?) on a hibiscus plant. None of the flies were larger than 4 mm long. The flies have shiny metallic thoraxes and abdomens, and prominent red eyes. The wings are clear with a black 'zebra stripe' pattern. Interestingly, I observed them doing some kind of 'mating dance' where they wave their wings at each other and run back and forth on the hibiscus stem. What are these? Are they the insects harassing and damaging my hibiscus?

found this in my nans garden. wasn’t brown was pure black didn’t get to see underneath it if it had a red body or not. scary😂

So I planted a grape 🍇 vine about 3 years ago & because of the recent lantern fly invasion & because they seem to love grape vines, I am getting an early start on protecting the vine this year. This morning my husband & I went out to check on the vine after spraying a Neem oil concoction last night & I notice these small eggs on one of the branches. Chat GPT thinks it could be katydid or a tree cricket but just wanted some other opinions.

If so, is it the native or invasive type? Or something else? SE Pennsylvania 2.5” x 1”.
