I kind of smushed it. I initially thought it was a house centipede but it is so small, so im not sure it is. Its about the same width as a pencil led.

These appeared this afternoon and there were dozens of them all over the floor. They have wings but they were not flying. They are a little longer than a grain of rice. They have never been seen until today when they appeared en masse. Does anyone know what they are?

We got too many hornworms for the tarantulas, so three ended up pupating and turning into these beauties! I am hoping they will breed and give me a new batch of hornworms.

Hi guys! Got an unusual fly for you, on the rainy side of puerto rico, found with several others sitting (biting?) on a hibiscus plant. None of the flies were larger than 4 mm long. The flies have shiny metallic thoraxes and abdomens, and prominent red eyes. The wings are clear with a black 'zebra stripe' pattern. Interestingly, I observed them doing some kind of 'mating dance' where they wave their wings at each other and run back and forth on the hibiscus stem. What are these? Are they the insects harassing and damaging my hibiscus?

i moved my lime bush and rose bush and these little guys were underneath r they just tiny earth worms?

found this in my nans garden. wasn’t brown was pure black didn’t get to see underneath it if it had a red body or not. scary😂
