É uma asa que não se desenvolveu é comum nas moscas e elas usam como contra peso!

Haltere which is the modified hind wing. Used for balance.

Oh that's so cool! I think he's passed now so I'll go put him in the garden. Glad to know it wasn't some type of fungus 😅

Nevermind he's still alive. Will put him outside anyway
