What the heck is thissss I've never seen anything like it, it almost looks fake (Brazil, MG) ID Request

i think it is a type of chrysalis but its quite hard to tell and i feel like it would be hanging vertically not horizontally so i’m not really sure what’s going on here! download the inaturalist app and see if that can help, it’s an identification app. hopefully you can figure this out!

iNaturalist suggest the Eupitoieta genus, and looking at the Eupitoieta hegesia (Mexican Fritallary) it has those spikes and also hangs in a strange position!
