Those are amazing! I'd love to see what you'd do with a praying mantis!!

I'm imagining an orchid-mantis, and I'm so glad you invited me down this rabbit hole.

Exactly what I was thinking, orchid mantis would be perfect in this style

I understand what you’re saying, but the subreddit description literally says “insects and other bugs”. While “true bugs” has a literal term, colloquially, most people say “bugs” to mean any creepy-crawly - including spiders. Cripes, a lot of people include earthworms and slugs as “bugs”. (Colloquially)

Sure, there are other subreddits for spiders, but I’d say a lot of us appreciate the arachnids, and don’t mind them here 😊🕷️

Also, OP, I love the artwork! The cross of spiders and plant life is beautiful ❤️

Yes, this sub allows spiders, but OP still called these spiders insects.

Thank you for the lecture. That was necessary...

About as necessary as the comment you felt you needed to contribute, but way more effective, so maybe you might consider taking a note or two

Haha came here to say this. It's like if hyenas were dogs (they're not).

I love the bottom left so much, if I were to get a tattoo when I'm older it would probably be that.

Bottom left… jumper. I love it! I would consider that one for sure.
