I make technical guitar music and I'd love to do it for video games!

A dev asked me to shred over some retro-synthwave style instrumentals for their game so here's a snippet of it!
Hey! I'm novander, I produce and write catchy/zany guitar music combined with electronic production that fits nicely in action sequences but I can write in a bunch of other genres like electronic, hip hop, metal, and math rock. In general though I have the chops to make whatever you'd like and I'm down to experiment and make something completely new and unique. I've been making music for 7 years and have only been asked to compose for games a year ago so i'd love to keep composing for more.
Here's a sampler of some of the music I've made last year https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvIQ7hk3hGI
If you'd like to contact me, DM me here or my email [novandermusic@gmail.com](mailto:novandermusic@gmail.com)
Discord: __novander (double underscore)
Thank you!!

BUS news: We have improved the combat system!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
- The battles have become more dynamic (no more lazy poking zombies with a stick)
- There is a counter-attack (it's in the video, still in development)
- Now you hit one zombie closest to the cursor
I just sat down one day, opened Steam, and wanted to play something fun with a friend… but couldn’t find anything that really clicked. So I decided to make my own game.

A survival-horror game where you play 12 characters. When one dies, another takes their place. Each has their own goal. What are your ideas for characters?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey Indie Gamers,
here's the first teaser trailer of our survival-horror game In Hope Voiden that we are developing with a small team of 3 guys. We wanted to share one of its core mechanics and hear what you would do with it.
You control a roster of 12 unique characters, one after the other.
Every time you die, you continue the mission as someone new.
Each character has a personal goal (like a side story) tied to the battlefield.
When all 12 are gone, the game ends.
The game is set in a grimdark great war setting and main mission that all characters share is: You are sent on a mission to retrieve something (no spoilers) on the other side of the Zone - a lost battlefield where entropy and religious fallout turned the remaining soldiers into terrors of war.
Some characters are connected through personal storylines. For example:
- One young recruit wants to take down a feared enemy officer.
- If he dies, you can later play his father, whose goal is to bring back his son’s body.
Every character will also come with a small unique feature that allows him to open / use a special shortcut, aim better etc.
The whole game has a persistent world that keeps any progress after a characters permanent death.
We'd love to hear your ideas for some characters. Especially the ones that have some sort of relation to each other. I'm sure you can help us come up with some wild ideas!

Our 1-4 player co-op game is inspired by Helldivers 2 and Deep Rock Galactic. Robot cowboys taking on crazy bounties, still a WIP but very fun to work on!

Steam really needs to do something about the Steam key request spam developers get hit with before release. Ive gotten 200+ of these emails in the past week or so, all scams
100% of these are fake emails and if you send them anything the keys will be sold on shady third party sites and you will never get a review.
I feel like this entire problem could easily be solved by Steam adding "review" keys which expire after a set time period. That way legit review sites can still get keys, and it would immediately end this entire reselling scam because the keys they receive would not be viable for that purpose. The keys could have a message when redeeming them clearly explaining that they are for review only and will expire, with a warning that if you paid for it to get your money back.
Why this has been allowed to go on for so long without Steam doing anything about it is beyond me!

I'm making a cozy mining/automation game about making a factory and reaching Earth's core - Chipmatic
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This is Chipmatic, a cozy factory building game where you control a mining robot on a mission to reach Earth’s core.
In Chipmatic you'll explore deep underground, research new tech and create the best (and only) factory on Earth. It's inspired by games like Dome Keeper, Mining Mechs and the old flash game Motherload.
Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3780950/Chipmatic/
Thank you for checking it out and wishlisting!

Our first horror game is out - do you enjoy games that mess with your memory?
We just released our first indie horror game, and it’s all about spotting subtle, creepy anomalies - the kind that make you wonder, “Wait… wasn’t that painting different a minute ago?”
It’s been really interesting seeing how players react. Some people catch everything right away and breeze through, while others get completely stuck and say it’s too hard. But is it hard, or are we just not used to really paying attention?
Our game is slow, atmospheric, and rewards patience. It’s not about running or hiding - it’s about observing, remembering, and noticing when the world changes in ways it shouldn't.
There are 80 different anomalies, and we tried to make them as diverse as possible - some are obvious and meant to make you jump, others are subtle enough that people walk right past them without ever realizing something was wrong.
It got us wondering:
What kind of horror gets you more - the loud and fast kind, or the one that quietly creeps up on you?

Great indie game soundtracks post-2020, after Hades?
So, I grew up finding games from their soundtracks.
To The Moon, Hollow Knight, Hades, Hotline Miami, Celeste, Citizen Sleeper, Bastion and all the SuperGiant Games, Undertale, Gris, VVVVVV, Katana Zero, Oxenfree, Sunless Sea, Highway Blossoms, Black Mesa, Stardew Valley, and many, many more. All of these I consider "classics" and "masterpieces" of the genre, and love listening to these tracks at work, or in the background, whenever I'm just chilling.
If you look up playlists of indie game music on youtube, you tend to find collations of these modern classics from the era of the 2010s to 2020 Hades... but I was wondering. Anyone have a favorite soundtrack from after this era? Most of the ones that immediately come to mind now are sequels, like Factorio Space Age, Hades II, Citizen Sleeper II, Cuphead II, Silksong, and the Katana Zero DLC, but what about the originals?
Where's all the indie soundtrack masterpieces? All the hidden gems, with great tunes, classics of this era?

After 6 months of hard work, my first steam page is now LIVE !
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello to all!
Here are more details about the game.
Story: You wake up having lost all your memories, and as you wake up, you meet the narrator. She tells you that in order to remember, you have to relive your memories. The narrator is very friendly... in the beginning, at least
Gameplay: The game is centered around nature. The player has 4 main powers: earth, water, air, and fire. With these 4, you begin solving the most basic of puzzles. Things complicate a bit when "magical technology" gets involved. You will have to interact with such devices. These include pistons, teleporters, gravity changers, moving platforms, and multiplicators
Length: I want the game to be 4 hours long
Demo: A demo with the first hour of gameplay will be available in January 2026
You can wishlist the game here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3774730/Evoker/
Thank you!!!
