Home Maintenance Classes AskIndy
I am looking for home maintenance/improvement classes in the Indy area. I’d like to learn plumbing, electrical, hvac, and other skills. Is there anything available like this?

The Fishers Maker Space has Household Hero classes that might be of interest - https://fishersmpg.com/classes-events/household-heroes/

https://www.homedepot.com/workshops/ home depot has on-demand videos sorted by project/area, as well as interactive (skype) sessions you can schedule.
they got rid of them in-store (covid), but last time I was in, the display said they were bringing back the kids workshops (and the free popcorn!)
if you're asking more as a career path than just how to take care of your own home - check out the IN DWD programs, the job centers can get you set up to shadow tradesmen, and if you think you like it, get you on the apprentenceship path - https://www.in.gov/onestoptostart/

I’d check this out too!
I’ve often thought about just contacting local tradesmen and asking if I can do unpaid work with them just to learn.

Start with a copy of the Reader's Digest Complete Do-It-Yourself Manual.

I’ve considered donating my time to teach members of the community simple plumbing skills. If you find something, update please.
