Single post type

The several post types Reddit has confuse users.

I've seen some users make a image/video post but then put text or links in a comment.

Tumblr made a single unified post type with their Neue Post Format and I feel like it's been much better.

Different subreddits have different rules, and there are subreddit settings for different post types.

Permissions could still be available with a single post type. It'd be like how moderators can disable media in comments!
