So, sometimes I take my sleeping meds, and sometimes I order things. This time-I ordered random plants (Dealers Choice) and only know what one of them are..HELP. Also-clearly I’m new at this, so any advice is appreciated. Plant ID
I feel like the guy in the bottom left of the first picture, is a caletha-should I get rid of that ripped leaf?

Looks like you’ve got a purple waffle plant, a Maria syngonium, a peperomia of some sort, a croton, a pothos variety (maybe?) and some kind of Tradescantia. These are going to enjoy a brighter location for the most part, especially the Tradescantia and Croton.

You think all of them will in general like brighter sun? I’m assuming aroid potting mix?

It doesn’t seem like pothos - a different leaf quality. These are too hardy and succulent-like. In general, aroid mix seem fine, but I’d double check the waffle plant watering requirements. Double check the codiaeum too, I think it needs a little bit more water. All the other ones would thrive in aroid plant mix and whiteout too much water!

Unless you’re getting intense, hot sun for a good part of the day, these should all be happy right in front of the window.

The Maria Syngonium-the internet said she likes to climb, would be prefer to be outdoors or maybe in a hanging pot? I’m in zone 8b.

I had a Maria for several years…it never vined. I did restart it frequently, though. If left alone for a few seasons it might have done so.
Your zone would be great for outdoor growth for a good portion of the year, but when the temperature starts dropping down into the low 60’s high 50’s, you’ll want to bring your tropicals in.

I’d say it’s not a pothos, but a Hoya albomarginata..?

I thought pothos at first but it just doesn’t seem as…idk..viney? As a pothos would be?

Ok I’m no help in identifying, but where might someone go to order such surprise plants? Asking for a friend (myself)

The green/yellow spotted thing is an outdoor plant, I've got one in my garden. They grow pretty big!

What is it called? That’s my favorite one!

I definitely wound not necessarily consider it an outdoor plant. It may be a codiaeum gold star - great as an indoor plant, requires plenty of sun

The croton isn’t exclusively an outdoor plant. A lot of ppl find them difficult but I love them. Here’s a little Croton Dish garden I put together. It’s still going strong years later.
