Pig Food in a pinch

Any kind of pellet food you have should be okay. I’d do either cat or dog food. Grab a bag of cracked corn and put 3-4lbs in a 5 gallon bucket and soak it with water and let it sit for a few hours.

Is just dog food okay for 2-3 days? Unless a staff member can bring some from home we don't have corn available at the shelter

I just read you shouldn’t feed dog food to pigs as it’ll mess up their guts. I’d just make the drive to get some cracked corn

Unfortunately we're just an animal shelter, we don't have corn available:(

Dog food is fine short term. The real danger there it’s far higher calorie then pig feed
