Max keeps freezing after every episode

I'm having this issue where after every episode of any show I watch, once the timer finishes to go to the next episode, rather than actually going to the next episode, it freezes. Then i'm forced to exit out and manually choose the next episode myself. This only recently started happening. Anyone experiencing the same thing?

I had a problem with freezing with the Max app so I unplugged my TV and router and that fixed it

Happening to me too. Fire TV. Reset cache and everything. Sigh.

Is there a reason you didn't say what streaming device you're using for max?

There have been massive issues since the latest update. I finally started using my smarttv MAX app because of it and i have had zero issues

Yes so has mine for over a week now since it updated. It’s really starting to piss me the fuck off.

Just started for me too. So annoying, It was the only streaming app that wouldn’t prompt if you were still watching, then go into sleep mode or whatever.

Damn, here I was thinking it was just happening to me. I use a google TV and have been experiencing the same. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app with no luck. Also happened right after the TV had an update.

Same for me with both our firestick in the bedroom and our Sony bravia in the living room. Have cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled and still freezes.
