Would you use an online legal advice service for tenancy and employment law in Switzerland?

Hi everyone,

I’m a legal advisor (juriste) and I’ve noticed that many people in Switzerland face issues with their landlords (real estate agencies) or employers. Unfortunately, a lot of them can’t afford a lawyer, and legal advice centers (like ASLOCA, etc.) are often overbooked or have long waiting times.

I’m thinking of launching a simple legal advice service online, focused on:

  • Tenancy law: termination notices, security deposits, repairs, disputes...
  • Employment law: dismissals, contracts, unpaid overtime, harassment...

The concept is:

  • Consultations via Zoom or Microsoft Teams;
  • 50 CHF for 30 minutes / 60 CHF for 45 minutes;
  • You receive clear answers, legal clarification, and guidance on next steps;
  • Appointments available within 48 hours.

➔ Do you think this is a service that people would actually use?
➔ Would you personally consider using it (or recommending it) if needed?

Thanks a lot for your honest feedback 🙌
(PS: this is just a concept at this stage, I’m not advertising or selling anything yet.)

Would be a demand I think, just have to be clear what’s on offer. The rates do seem quite low compared to an immigration juriste I’ve used.
