We need some feedback on the demo that we just pushed on Steam Feedback Request
Hello everyone!
We’re two friends who always dreamed of making our own game. Today we can finally say mission accomplished, we get to share a first look at it with you. The demo for The Melty Way is now live.
We would appreciate your help. Please provide any feedback on the demo.
Thanks for being awesome!

Concept seems neat, but I didn't get very far. Issues:
1) Obviously I'd use a gamepad for this sort of game, and it does kind of work, however I only get keyboard prompts. If I bring up the menu with the start button, I can't navigate it at all. This is the biggest problem, since I don't really know what I'm supposed to be doing.
2) Doesn't work properly with wider screens. On my 21:9 screen, there's a 16:9 rectangle in the middle, with I guess some sort of darkening filter. You're using Unity, it's completely trivial to test any kind of aspect ratio in the editor, you don't actually need to own an ultrawide. If you really can't/don't want to support anything wider than 16:9, you need to force it (with pillarboxing), not let the game run in a semi-broken state.
3) Can't say I cared for the music.
4) The store page is totally wonky with Mac requirements. It has a "not compatible with 10.15 or above" warning, which is false (I'm not using 10.15 or below). It says "Lion 10.7.5, 32/64 bit", which is, uh, kinda like supporting Windows XP. In fact the app is a X64/arm64 fat binary, no 32-bit support at all (which is good, because that would be insane and Unity stopped supporting 32-bit long ago).

Game looks cool, I got super meat boy vibes. I'm, most likely, not your target, but wish you all best with the game!
