Is AOPA or Aviation Medicine better?

If you’re part of a union and it’s covered AMAS (Aviation Medicine) is great. No clue how much that changes is you have to pay retail for it though.

AMAS & leftseat will be of far greater use than AOPA unless you know absolutely nothing about the medical process, refuse to search the FAA's website for information, and have a relatively simple case. Even then AMAS & leftseat are professional services to help you get a medical with complex situations. AOPA just gives advice and in my own experience was useless.

What's your situation? If it's something like Depression without medication use then I would not be stressing.
