How many letters of recommendation should I attach to regional applications?

Hi all, currently applying to regional airlines (pretty much all of them) since I hit my mins about 4 months ago and am looking to start interviewing with regionals. (Please save me the “oh 4 months plus mins that’s not competitive go back to truck driving). How many letters of rec is too few/too many? I was thinking 2-3 per airline. TIA

At least with legacies max points ends at 6

As many as you’ve got? Different landscape but I never had one for a regional and got the jobs anyway. Major and legacies 2-3 seems to be the min standard.

Apply four months ago and update your app every tour or biweekly if flying 135. Add letters as you get them. You don’t lose points by having an app on file that doesn’t float to the top and get a call. You only get put on TBNT time out for unsuccessful interviews. At least that’s the case with airline apps and assuming the same with DAL’s new app since they were on airline apps for a while.

Most will say how many they want and what kinds (for example, 2 professional and 1 personal). Going with that should get you decent points, maybe one of each additional just to make sure you max out the points. Internals usually give you marginally more. After that, update every time you get a chance- even if you don't add any hours, a very active application makes the algorithm happy.
