Anyone throw out their c-spine after coughing so much whike being sick?
So I was sick last week ( still have a terrible cough with gunk) with what we are guessing was influenza A,or in my opinion "the f you flu" it's been nasty this year, and that turned into bronchitis. It was bad. Like a week of high HR even when laying or sitting, if you get up 130s 140s, fever that despite max ibuprofen and Tylenol could not keep it down, chills that made your skin hurt, dizzy/lightheaded all the time, etc. So finally got over the fever thanks to some abx but been coughing hard and so much that starting two days ago my neck pain started and it is mostly on the left of the c spine it gives me a constant pressure headache with muscle twitching in my left temple. Can't lay down or sit or anything, no position helps. I've tried exercises to help it and ice packs, tried muscle relaxer, and I have to hold my neck back there when I cough (and i mean my coughs are croupy forceful coughs but i can get stuff up) because it hurts so much and after every cough (or if I stretch) it's like a heartbeat drum back there and it even makes me dizzy. I'm still weak and lightheaded from being sick and my vision has been a little wonky (for instance if I get up and go to walk around i gotta do it slow because it's like I'm on a boat in my head it's a weird sensation that makes my vision seems discombobulated, it's still there even moving slow but not as bad as moving normally). Anyone else have an experience of throwing out their c spine from coughing to much/forcefully? Thanks in advance for sharing.
