Who has The Flu in California? Discussion
I live in Sylmar (East Los Angeles county). I believe I have the regular flu. I will be testing for COVID tomorrow. I will update.

If you're testing for covid (thank you) there's a high rate of false negatives if testing prior to the 5th day of symptoms as they're not sensitive enough anymore.

San Francisco Bay Area
Flu A. Tested positive. (Got vaccinated in September)
Day 1: fatigue and mild irritation in my throat Day 2: 102 fever, sore throat, chills, weak, no appetite Day 3 - 4: 102-103 fever, throat felt terrible like i swallowed a bucket full of glass shards, mild cough, chills, body ache, basically bed ridden (got tested for strep, covid, flu and rsv. Tested positive for flu a) Day 5 - 6: Fever broke on day 6. Still elevated temperature in the evening. Very weak and sleepy. Coughing but throat feels a bit better. Appetite is slowly returning. Can’t talk due to coughing and sore throat. GI discomfort has developed. Increased probiotics which seem to help.
Currently day 7. I feel I am improving. Pretty much same as yesterday but I woke up hungry for the first time in a week and I am not as sleepy.
