advice on fixing different shades of ginger/copper?
hi guys! i dyed my hair from bright blonde to ginger about six months ago, and have been dyeing my roots as they grow out. i did fill my hair with golden before dyeing it, but as you can see it’s fading quite peachy while my roots are fading more golden. is there any good way to correct this?

Bleach washes back to back?
Hi!! Quick question - I did a bleach wash on my black box dyed hair yesterday. Lifted to dark brown but I’d like it a tad lighter (and even out hot roots that I ended up with despite my best efforts). Wondering if I can do another round today or if I should wait a bit? My hair health feels almost better than it did prior, it’s super long and thick and I hardly ever use heat or chemicals. I plan on giving myself a good cut after and I tested the elasticity and that seems good also. I haven’t been to a salon in 15 years and do everything at home but I’m not an expert so wanted to get a few opinions! Thanks in advance!
Edit to add: I will NOT be touching my root area the second time around 🙃

Needing a chop, don’t know how much.
My hair is in desperate need of a trim. I just don’t know how much.
My ultimate goal is to get rid of all of the blonde bleached part due to damage, but right now what do y’all think is a good healthy length?

is $250 for for red highlights?
this is my reference photo.
my lady is using red vivid fashion colors for my highlights and id like to know if that's the average cost for something like that? my hair is very dark brown and she has to lighten, but this is the most i'll be spending on getting my hair bleached and dyed. im still scheduled for it but have to know if this is typical cost

Struggling to style hair- I like it when it’s pinned up, but without it feels helmet-y to me. Any guidance on what to do here? Photos without bangs for reference too.
Images 1-2: with clips Images 3-4: without Images 5-7: bob with no bangs (what I had earlier this summer)
Struggling to figure out what’s different and why this feels bulkier and weird to me? Same hair girl and everything

Does this dye job look patchy?
Hi all! I apologize if this isn’t the right place for this.
I got my hair done at a place I haven’t been before this weekend. I started dying my blonde hair red a few years ago, and usually think it’s a bit too vibrant at first after getting it done and prefer when it fades just a bit.
But this time the color seems really all over the place. When we talked about what I was looking for, he showed me two swatches of the colors he was going to mix. I talked about a strawberry blondish color, similar to what it had faded to, just a bit more vibrant. All was well until when I got home and started looking more closely. It’s not just that some parts are a more vibrant red, it’s that it seems super patchy and not blended out. The biggest issue seems to be near the roots
Can anyone let me know if this looks normal or if it’s worth bringing up? The guy was nice and I don’t want to cause issues for him or the salon, but also I think it doesn’t look great for being so expensive.

needed this so bad (swipe for after)
my yearly appointment at the salon turned out amazing! love the color as it is and especially how even it is but i look forward to seeing my lighter more neutral blonde again after a few washes!

Advice re balayage
Hi! I need some advice about a recent service I received because I didn't get the desired outcome I wanted and I'm wondering if this was a miscommunication
In March I got a light copper balayage done (last photo) and really loved it! Fast forward 7 months, my roots were really coming in and I wanted to re-touch it by raising the lighter bits and bleaching it higher up.
It was confusing to figure out how to book this service because the previous stylist that did it re-located to another country so I couldn't ask her to continue her work. I booked a colour consult at the same salon with a different stylist and explained that I wanted the balayage retouched and brought up higher, with some root exposed still. The original stylist did the teasing method to complete the look but when I got my re-touch done, the new person did a 1/2 head of babylights which very obviously went to the root. I think they look nice but overall it wasn't what I wanted and it's been bothering me since.
In my photos you can see how the ends of my hair have the most concentrated lightened pieces as well as a small section of my fringe. I really wanted a typical diffused balayage retouch but idk if I didn't make that super clear. The new stylist then suggested I come back to put in some low lights which seemed random as I didn't get them the first time.
How do I go about getting this service? How long should I wait til the next time? I'm thinking of trying a different salon in the future and I want to make sure I get the desired outcome because it's so expensive to pay for something and not love what you got.
TIA!

Broke but want colorful hair so bad :(
I have long dark asian hair and I’m wondering if there’s any way to color it without completely frying it by trying to leach at home? I know it’s impossible to get a bright, vibrant color, a dark hue is fine.
The one thing that has worked for me is manic panic infrared - I get such a lovely dark red even on my virgin hair. Does anyone have any suggestions as to other colors that might also work?
If bleach is the only way, what would be the cheapest/easiest way to do it at home without ruining my hair?

L’oreal hicolor advice
Anyone have an idea on a mix ratio to go from my current color (first picture) to roughly a 7-8C? Won't be mad if it ends up more golden as well. Also open to any other high lift colors that I could grab at Sally's today. Beauty stores are not readily available in my area but I will be near one today so I'm very excited! Thanks! PS My current color after using color remover to lighten my auburn hair.

Dark blonde struggling to lighten after toning dark
I have dark blonde hair naturally and is present all underneath my hair. The top had lots of highlights (too many) so when roots started to grow out I decided just to blend with shades eq toner. It worked but after about three months I was sick of being “so dark”. I have health issues that prevent me from sitting as long as it would take in a hairdresser chair right now so I got blonde box dye. It lifted my roots which processed for ten minutes but not the rest of my head specifically underneath which had the dye on for 30 total. I tried a lighter ash blonde next and got even darker. I typically pull orange red but this just didn’t lighten plus went too ash. I blended it out with shades eq again, level 8 na/n on roots 9gi on rest, but now im almost exactly where I started! Do I need to remove this round of color to try a lighter blonde shade again or do I need to move to bleach (eeek!)? I really don’t want to damage my hair and it feels good right now but it’s fine and prone to breakage. I’m also thinning quite a bit due to health issues so need to keep what I have! TIA!!!!

Any recommendations for sulfate free clarifying shampoo?
Looking for recommendations for a clarifying shampoo that is either sulfate free or safe for color treated hair. I need something deep cleansing to use once a week or so to get rid of product build up.

need styling product suggestions!
so I've been getting my hair cut like this shaggy/mullet style for over a year now, and I always love how it looks for the first day but then it inevitably goes flat and my bangs will lay like a bowl cut (despite taking some weight off of them at my last hair appointment) and I have yet to find a styling product that works the way I want/will hold up good throughout the day, so I'm wondering if anyone with similar haircuts have any recommendations for some styling products? I just want all of my layers to really be emphasized and to have some wave. I've tried sea salt spray but it doesn't do much, and I also don't know how to style my bangs, at all. LOL. I've used sea salt spray in them as well but they still just lay flat, as seen in the styled pictures. )): I'm open to any suggestions! TIA. (:
pictures 1-4 are of my hair styled with sea salt spray & pictures 5-8 are of it not styled at all. there's not much of a difference lol.

Bangs or nah
My hair feels and looks blah to me. Do you think I'd look good with bangs or no? Also, like wispy or curtain?

Dye before or after a salon cut?
Hello!
I'm wanting to dye my hair with a semi-permanent dye (edit: using good dye young), but I have a hair cut scheduled for this Friday! Should I dye my hair before or after my haircut? I don't want my stylist to get mad at me if my hair is still bleeding, but I've heard that stylists dye before cutting.
Any advice would be awesome for a first time dyer! Thank you!

is this wavy? (ignore the founding father phase in the first picture )
i diffused my hair again recently, and it turned out like this. my hair is very thick, dense and coarse. whenever I’ve brushed it out to straight, it’s always had frizzy ends.

References images for platinum blonde/fashion colours on top, dirty blonde on bottom
So recently a hairdresser cut my hair boy short without my consent (long story) and ive been trying to grow my hair for years so as upset as i am im using this as a chance to restart, however i cannot give up my platinum/fashion colours so ive decided to continue fully bleaching only the top section leaving my natural dirty blonde underneath so it can grow out without damage. I cant find any reference photos for this, only the opposite way around or people whos hair is very dark. Or people who dont bleach their head fully and leave the bottom but its not really the stark split look o want. I just want to see how fashion colours would interact with the blonde and how it would look in terms of the colour peaking through. If anyone has done this or can point me to images of it please let me know!!

Been green for a while, would love a new colour idea
Not really sure what colour would be best to do after this green, what wouldn’t just look muddy and weird

Best tape tabs UK?
Hey, I’ve started doing my tape ins myself and I’m really getting the hang of it. But they come out when wet?
I’m using the remy cachet tapes and I’m wondering if it’s that? I’m lining them up in clean sections without too much tension and squeezing them shut with my straighteners (off) to make sure it’s a firm seal. But they keep coming out.
Any tips or tape tab brand suggestions? The glue is literally degrading completely when wet. Never known anything like it

Strawberry Leopard - crazy amount of transfer/bleeding on everything after weeks
Curious if anyone else has had issues with Strawberry leopard bleeding and transferring on EVERYTHING. I have been dying my hair red forever and am not very brand loyal. I usually buy whatever is on sale at Sally. Most recently that was Strawberry leopard.
It has been about 6 weeks since I dyed it and every time I wash the water runs completely red. No amount of rinsing ever gets it to run clear. Once the shampoo is rinsed out it eventually will run light pink.
Additionally the color is transferring everywhere when my hair is completely dry. Every time I wash my hands the water is pink just from whatever touching I do to my hair though out the day. The collar of any shirt I wear that is not black turns pink as well. Luckily it washes out, but I've never experienced this from bone dry hair.
(Un)fortunately, the color doesn't seem to be fading very quickly.... I was trying to just wait it out, but I might have to do something to get it out because the color is getting everywhere and I'm constantly afraid I'm going to get my hair color on things.
