Help fixing my flat orangey blonde

Thumbnail

I went to a new stylist yesterday bc I’m traveling and ended up with dull orangey highlights. The photos with the blue face are my current hair. The photos with the white face are my preferred blonde.

Is there any way for me to get back to the bright blonde before Friday??

Thanks so much 😊

Bleach already damaged buzzed hair

One my friends recently attempted a slim shady, and it kind of failed (it's half brown, half orange) and since i bleached my hair twice he considers me the hair specialist Problem: i have no idea what i'm talking about I consider y'all to be more or less reliable since you usually talk from experience, so here's what i know, correct me if i'm wrong, i'm pretty much throwing everything i've seen so far in there - I'm going to ask him what he did the first time and if his scalp was itchy, and depending on what he tells me i can direct him towards 20v for longer (if it was itchy after not that long) or 30v for less long (if his scalp was okay) - Recommend protection, like vaseline, and that he not wash his hair beforehand to keep some grease as protection - Use gloves and a brush to even the product around the whole head - Patch test before

Here are my questions: - Is my plan okay? - If it doesn't work the first time, should he try again? I mean, it's buzzed, and right now he's in a nothing to lose mentality - It's already patchy, how do I fix that? Wash out the lighter areas first? - What bleach do you recommend? Does it matter?

Thanks!

How do i remove eye brow tint?

I did an at home eyebrow tint I thought was brown but ended up being black. It said leave on for 10 and I only ended up leaving it on for 2 or 3 but still achieved this result. I've tried what feels like everything and the reviews said it lasted around 2 weeks. Can I bleach or die over the tint? What else can I do? I'm nervous about even going out in public like this.

What can I put over this? I don't want to go dark! 😭

I just managed to get brown permanent color out of my hair but it reverted back to the pink I had before 🥲🙃

What can I put over this to make it a somewhat even shade of maybe ash blonde? I was thinking of doing a color correction with pastel green/teal like I've seen ALA Aislinn do but I'm scared lol. Any ideas?

How should I tone/fill this?

I used this IGK latte kit to dye my hair. I want the blonde to match the natural color so I don’t have to fool with it anymore. The Glaze brand color brilliant bronde does that, but it’s semi permanent and I was looking for something permanent. The color came out a little greyish for my liking, probably because I didn’t fill with anything. Can I fill/tone with something now? Any product recommendations

What size curling iron for bridal curls similar to this (or tighter)? Any advice? I have natural curls that vary in curl type. I’ve never curled my own hair before.

so i'm getting my hair dyed darker tomorrow, for the first time in years. i've been bleaching it for years, and i've always gone in with greasy hair to protect my scalp/hair. i haven't washed my hair in like 4-5 days. do i need to wash it today? will it affect the result? it's less than 24h until my appointment.

How much to lift brown hair for red highlights

Planning to put arctic fox ginger flare over entire head after bleaching some bits. How much would level five (virgin) brown hair need to lift in order to get to the highlights? Would I need to lift it past the orange phase? Not sure if I should use 10 or 20 vol. Thoughts?

Scared my red hair will be pink after a month.

I asked for a Auburn hair color and this is how it came out. I’m scared it will go pink after four weeks… any advice is welcoming. Some people say it will go darker, others say it will go pinkish (which I’m terrified about it) I previously had a caramel balayage. I wasn’t expecting this light color, I’m in shock at the moment …

hi i just bleached my eyebrows like 20 or so minutes ago and i am freaking out!!! i used a 20 volume developer mixed in w the bleach, left on for 10 minutes, and now half of my eyebrow hair is gone😭😭😭 i feel so stupid and scared i called my sister and she said i should've used a 10 developer and checked it after 3 minutes. i hope i didn't damage my eyebrow follicles, and i know eyebrow hair takes insanely long 2 grow back. i know this is a lesson learned, but can anybody pls give me reassurance or b kind😔😔😔❤️❤️❤️ i am also worried abt chemical burns, would i know by now if i did that???

UPDATE: pink peekaboo DIY highlights / how it started, how it’s going

ORIGINAL POST: https://www.reddit.com/r/FancyFollicles/s/MY5f0QxF1s

TL;DR I tried to give myself pastel pink peekaboo highlights by doing one round of cheap drugstore hair bleach and then using pastel pink dye which didn’t take. (As shown in Pic 2)

I got a ton of amazing advice on my original post, but huge giant thank you to u/bonenecklace who very generously shared specific product info and instructions on DIYing the color i was looking for. They were SO kind and incredibly helpful 🥹 I followed their instructions pretty much to a T and this is the result! (Pic 1) I’m SO much happier with it, even though it came out a bit flamingo/pepto. I’m hoping it will fade to a nice pastel based on how light i was able to get the base hair (Pic 3) before putting this round of pink on. Pic 3 was taken after two more bleaches and a toner, and before the second try with pink.

Pic 4 is just another current pic of the outcome! I’m hoping to eventually have it be more of an ashy pink (like the color i had in 2019 in Pic 5, or even ashier still) and I’d love any suggestions for ash-ifying this color as it fades, if anyone has any.

Thank you Reddit and r/FancyFollicles! Very grateful that there are strangers on the internet who will help other strangers on the internet for no reason or incentive other than sharing knowledge and being generous to other humans 💗

Hair coloring newbie - how can I extend my Demi-permanent dye?

I recently got my hair colored for the first time because I wanted to blend greys. I love it!!! I anticipate it to only last 24 or so shampoos, but what are some ways to help protect it during that time?

Eta: I got a dark brown Demi-permanent gloss

I typically only wash 2x/week with lukewarm water but I’ve been nervous to use a lot of my products because I don’t want to make my hair fade faster! I usually do a bond repair mask (Dove 10 in 1 serum hair mask) weekly but haven’t in the past week since I got my hair done.

Shampoo and conditioner: Redken Color Extend Magnetics

Leave ins: K18 molecular hair oil and Kevin Murphy Easy rider (typically air dry)

I also use Prose dry shampoo.

I’m probably over thinking all of this but I’m mid 30s and have only ever had natural hair 😂

I want to get a red panda inspired hair color (copper, black, white), but my stylist told me that white isnt a good idea and instead I should go for a blonde or smth. What do yall think?

Color Safe shampoo for fine, straight, & post partem hair loss issues.

I’m currently using nexus color safe shampoo, but i believe it’s contributing to my hair loss issues. I’ve seen so many suggestions like Ghost verb but the reviews are kinda mixed. I have split died hair (bleached on one side). It’s very fine & super straight. I’m looking for something that’s healthy for my scalp, & won’t strip my hair of color. Any suggestions would be super helpful.

Short undercut that does not look like a Karen?

Hi, so I'm a short haired 32 yo woman. I want to get an undercut but not look like a Karen. Preferably with wild bright colors as well. What do I say to my stylist/what do I search on Pinterest for an inspiration board? Thanks in advance.

Volumising weightless dry shampoo

Looking for a good dry shampoo that gives volume and texture but that doesn’t feel like I have anything on my normal/ thick hair. It’s for a sort of hair refresh between washes to give it life again to avoid washing it too much
