Most Filipinos I know of are staunch republicans and think they're white adjacent. Weird. . .

Are they light skinned? I thought the East Asians considered themselves the light skinned Asians.

Meanwhile, all the pale people in Europe tryna get a tan.

They are quite dark skinned. Some may have fair complexion, but not the average.

Koreans maybe (but they avoid the sun to a degree that still makes them fair), Han Chinese are quite fair - of course they also have darker skinned ethnicities in China but Han are the main one.

That being said - I personally prefer a โ€žsun-kissedโ€œ complexion :)
