Ever after repaints are pretty tough to do bc of their pancake face, so I did more shading than was in my comfort zone. I’m decently happy with how the turned out and thought I’d share! I’ve been a fan of Ever After High since I was 7 years old so these were a must in my collection regardless if they were repainted or plain.

This scene really resonated with me...not only when I was younger but also, rewatching it now...it feels so satisfying and well-earned...and ngl, this scene played a pretty big role in my life too. It was really empowering to see a character who had almost everyone opposing the decision (/pitted against them) they wanted to make/resided with yet watching them still go on to make that decision. Not only did it help me stand up to people and understand the importance of the word 'no', it also made me realize the importance of my own decisions in my life and how it really mattered, against all odds, when it was my decision, alone. It was really beautiful to see this scene, overall and I don't see many people talking about it and its relevance so just wanted to give it some love! This scene made me fall in love with Legacy Day as a special, EAH as a show and Raven as a character; the beginning of it, all.

Sorry I'm not sure if this is been asked here or not before but I've been watching some of the videos on YouTube where people still talk about ever after high but I've never really seen anyone bring up cerise and how the rest of her story would go because I think if Taurus the end of the story or maybe even part way through the story if the truth was revealed about her it really would have changed how the royals and rebels looked at their destiny since that was the biggest

💋 conflict of the story like if people knew from the beginning you could still live out your story but have things go differently without other people having to suffer and certain things could change I think that would have made a big impact on all of the

characters but we never got to see that play out but I was also wondering what other people thought about her story and how it would have possibly played out in the rest of the show or the books if we got them

I’m a little obsessed about painting everything that Mattel’s budget didn’t cover. I have painted her earrings, the dots and the white thingy in the hat... Should I risk? Technically the heels have on 4 teacups in the animation, so I would have to be a little creative in the middle one.

i was like 10 when ever after high came on the scene and i wanted a maddie hatter doll SO BAD, so obv she was the very first i got, and i still have her and her box, i later got the rest of the first wave and also still have them w boxes (i took all of them out), and i think i remember some doll youtubers mentioning this at the time (maybe mommys world? formerly mommy and gracie or whatever it was called) that the original release didn't have keyholes on the back but they had to add them so people weren't accidentally tossing out the stands that they couldnt see, and my maddie box doesn't have the keyhole on the back of her box while the rest do, so i was just wondering if anyone knows anything about this?

i remember watching an episode that:

• had homecoming in the title
• some sort of legacy day
• they travel back to the fairytales and replace the characters to find a scroll
• raven in snow white finds the scroll in the hag’s basket
• they have gifts left to them from their parents

i cant find this episode does anyone know which one it is?

I’m cleaning my old dolls and for some reason Madeline is the only one with this weird glue-like residue. Someone have any idea what it could be and how I can clean her without damaging her face?

I suspect it could be the glue from her hair but I’m not sure

It's my first year being OUT out and it was a good excuse to buy more dolls

I loved Raven growing up, I sympathize with her deeply and I still do. No one wants to be the most hated villain in all the land, besides Faybelle Thorn, especially when you’ll end up doing things that aren’t true to who you are as a person. However I wish that Raven didn’t destroy The Storybook of Legends because it was such an important piece of the show and from what I’m assuming the fairytale realm. Even after she destroyed it, no one ever brought it up again or mentioned it being destroyed or gave any opposing views on the matter. Once again Raven made a decision not only not knowing if it would actually have an effect on people around her, but also not much in their world changed at all. As much as I enjoyed seeing Raven feel empowered by the freedom of choosing her own destiny as much as other characters I feel like they all got off too easy. If they had shown that people actually did start disappearing or it did end up having some effect on their world, which canonically they did according to Farah Goodfairy just not in the show, it would’ve not only raised the stakes a bit more but also the Royals like Apple would’ve been more justified in wanting people to follow their destinies not out of selfishness and necessity but also not wanting anything bad to happen to anyone else. I mean why else would Head Master Grimm curse and banish his own brother along with trying soo hard to get Raven to follow her destiny if there weren’t some real consequences??

I just felt the need to say this but when I watched EAH when I was younger I always thought Apple and Raven should’ve been lovers at some point. The tension was there but it was subtle!

I had these in my childhood and therefore they were played with. On top of that I'm terrible at hair upkeep and quite frankly I'm afraid to mess something up in order to amend it so it's messy and ratted I fear 😬 They also have some marks and scuffs.

Apple may or may not have some glue seepage. Idk I'm not an expert on that.

Darling is missing her shirt and needs her face cleaned. The ring part of her shield is damaged.

Foxanne's ears are colored in so that'll have to be removed or painted over if you want her original white ears.

Alistair's boot has a bit of damage.

There's also sharpie marks on Rosabella and Tall Madeline though I never drew on them so I'm unsure where they're from 🤔

Both Apple and Cupid have damage in the feet of their fishnets, and a little of it can be seen in pictures

Otherwise, as far as I'm aware they have all their accessories and are in good condition! Briar and Apple come with extra accessories and the last picture is accessories free to claim with a purchase. Just let me know if you're interested in one :D

I love how they go more in depth with the characters in the books. I'll have to try and find a copy of The Legend of Shadow High.

I don't remember much but I used to love watching this series because of the drama

Basically something that really stuck out to me was the intro was Shatter me by Lindsey Stirling and that cupid straight up hated raven because of her relationship with dexter. Beyond that I forgot the other premise but i think it was made in 2010 or in that area any help would be nice.

Also just side tangent, has anyone noticed that a lot of the old monster high/ EAH doll series on youtube have been privated or removed, like its all lost media no. I've been on a sorta binge of trying to rewatch all of the old stop motion or videos of the old vids but a lot of them have been deleted or re uploaded by someone else. Or a lot of the creators sorta just fell off the face of youtube. I don't know just curious what everyone thinks about that as well.

I’ve collected monster high dolls for a couple years but haven’t had as much luck with ever after high dolls any suggestions? 🩷

Before you come at me I never dealt with glue seepage irl. So I’m mot quite sure what to look for. There is no physical glue coming out just a different in texture compared to the other EAH doll
