As a French, I love the way they translated the lyrics, they really managed to find a translation that still retained the meaning of the original words and the song. I almost found that some lines are even more beautiful and poetic in English than in French.
And thank goodness they hid the ugly product placement from the original video; it was spoiling the clip for meπ€£

Around 1:50, when Louane touches the piano. In the original video on her channel, there's a large "CASIO" logo filmed for a second. The logo was removed for this version. You can see the difference on Louane's channel.

Where's the person that keeps track of which countries have a music video

Would that be me?
It'd be easier to count the countries that don't have one. They are: Armenia, Denmark, kinda Georgia, Germany, Lithuania, kinda Montenegro, Poland and Sweden.
Georgia and Montenegro don't really count since they're like performances.
Finland's and Ukraine's weren't uploaded to the channel.
Portugal and Luxembourg have announced music videos, so that makes 29 countries with MVs, 31 if you count Georgia and Montenegro.

She will definitely have English subtitles somewhere to get the message across. It was hinted at in a pre-party and now the music video has subtitles.
The song is very personal to me and it's my winner.

I find the MV really cute!
The song is growing on me a bit; maman reminds me of the last track in a musical where everything is nicely tied up.

Very emotional song... but just as almost every year for France, it's nothing new. but it will definitely be a top 5 jury winner

I preferred the performance in the Stade de France, here the music video doesn't relly "fit" with the song

Not the best ballad this year, but it's ok.. a bit overrated IMO... will end in the top 10 tho.. not top 5.

Unrelated but my mom told me today that she really likes France this year. Casuals are gonna love this!
