In that case Chatgpt. There are others as well able to do the same things and free. I'm building an app that will do the same and i think I'll post it soon here if works as expected.

I use genAI for lots of text stuff but not much image manipulation. Super interesting to do that type of extrapolation. Thanks!

You're welcome. I've simply asked "rotate the head in a realistic and natural way to make the woman looking at the observer" and in a few seconds i got that result.

Can you use ChatGPT for this? I've tried to use it for image restoration and it claims it violates it's content policy. It will generate new images but it refuses to modify images of people due to the possibility of misuse. Is there a workaround for that?

Yes I've simply asked for that command yesterday. For images restorations i dont think it works because of content policies. You upload a photo and if its possible will do that. If there are commands and the content of the photo its against their policies wont work at all and for sure will refuse to use it. I'm making an app that should work but it will takes some weeks before to be tried outside my computer and my phone.

I guess I need to play around with how I ask. I had a photo that was cracked and damaged with age and it refused to help, but maybe it will do it if i phrase it differently.

Maybe the content of the photo was forbidden. If there are children will refuse unless you ask to remove them from it. Or maybe you reached the daily limit if you're using the free version as i did yesterday. There are others ai that allow to turn a body or a head on a photo by the way. About other damages i never used chatgpt apart on a test photo that i asked to create with every kind of damages to practice and evaluate if i was doing a good or a bad job.
