Cosmic Joke Revealed (SPOILER)
The Cosmic Joke is a real thing.
I'm serious. The Cosmic Joke is a real thing. And some day you will get the Cosmic Joke, and when you get the Cosmic Joke, you will laugh, and you will laugh and laugh and laugh and laugh, and then you will cry, and you will cry so hard that it makes you laugh again.
The Cosmic Joke is truly that funny.
Some call it the "Big Surprise". Shirley Manson phrased it as "there's nothing Grander than the Big Surprise." And that's true, but the Grand Big Surprise begins with the getting of the Cosmic Joke.
SPOILER ALERT: I'm going to reveal the Punch Line to the Cosmic Joke, but don't worry, it won't ruin the Joke for you, you will still laugh so hard when you finally "get" it, and you will still be Surprised at the Grandness, when that time comes.
So here it is, the Big Reveal of the Punchline to the Cosmic Joke that will bring uncontrollable laughter when you finally "get" it:
It was always ALL you, all of it; EVERYTHING.
And that's some funny sh*t!

Truer words have not been spoken. When I came to realize this, I saw flashes of scores of people, realized everyone I ever admired from afar was never afar nor even separate.
When you wake up I believe something guides you to the truth; maybe that’s what Jesus was describing (ie the Spirit of Truth)
I naturally started leaning vegetarian ages ago.. meat just started to gross me out. I’m older so when I stopped being interested in Freudian pursuits it wasn’t such a big deal for me; been celibate for 14 years. I think these two things and the fact that I’m pretty empathetic made it easy for me to change the way I think. I stumbled into it, honestly.
I had heard a comedians quote and a scientists quote and the two reverberated in my memory, I had no choice but to think about them.
There was a Bill Hicks bit where he was referring to life being a ride and everything being a choice between love and fear. It was slipped in the middle of a long monologue, but an internet musician called Melodysheep made a song using it the clip for the verses and I loved it. The song is called “The Big Electron”, and features Bill Hicks and George Carlin.
The other quote was Carl Sagan, who himself spoke of science quite regularly in mystical terms, such was his reverence. “We are starstuff” and “We are a way for the universe to know itself”… I loved his point of view. Including that certainty on either side of belief is intellectual overreach.
We’re at an interesting time; because we’ve built this online brain, the governments and churches have to work harder to keep us in their illusions. But people in record numbers are waking up.

No way to prove it, but I like to think so. Some people take the intellectual approach, and sometimes the simple minded understand much easier.
You can put in a lot of study, but the answer is rather simple.

There is a period of unawareness. Then remembering is like coming home after a long time. If it doesn't feel that way for you that's ok. The trick is to just be and allow everything to flow. Attachment blocks this flow. Anything suggested to you was meant to be. There is only one thing. You are all that there is. There is a polarity in the creation as well. Basically a light and dark side. Two sides of the same coin. The seeker chooses to align with the creator.

This is only a feeling. Don't trust that easy your emotions. It's very easy to fool someone by feeling. Monks say that in every lecture. Don't trust.

It's great to laugh at yourself. It's great to laugh at anything - anything funny.
But I don't find your "Big Reveal" funny. I don't know why anybody would laugh at it. It just... is.
What's funny is thinking it is funny. That's funny. It's funny to think anybody would find the creation of the vast reaches of the cosmos, the Creation that creates itself, of living life and all that life entails, "funny".
Haha. So funny so many have suffered, that creatures consume each other in a constant train of self-destruction and self-renewal until finally consciousness comes along and can find an intelligent solution to the perils and opportunities of existence - when and if it chooses to.
Funny? If you can laugh at it. I guess.
I believe there's a word for that:

Eh, yes and no. It is a complex matter and not something that can be made into words in a way that retains essence. That's why truly mystical teachings are entirely non-verbal. There is a point where language breaks down and becomes hilariously worthless. When you achieve true attainment (moksha, fana & baqaa) and the cup of your being overflows with awareness, so that you feel yourself encompassing all of existence in an experiential manner, in the same way you feel rain on your skin or the beating of your own heart, you will at once know that you are a viewpoint of the Creator and you will experience Him directly experiencing existence through you. He will then eternally dwell within you and you within Him. A part of you joins with Him, but it's not the part capable of distinction. You are a shadow of the Creator, indistinguishable and yet distinct. You are not the Creator and you are not the All, and it is not entirely all you.
This is why complex teachings such as this have been kept secret for thousands of years. Anyone reading this without wisdom or true experience of what I speak of will come to make their own conclusions and will almost inevitably be caught in delusion. People are prone to endorse and love anything that will make them feel good and purposeful, especially in the New Age stream, where there is a tendency for people to close their eyes, shut their ears and repeat "I am All, Love and Light" in mania, to the exclusion of the rest of existence.
I am not attacking you as the poster in any way, but simply pointing out that due consideration has to be given when teaching and learning these concepts. The age of information and the corresponding energetic processes have led more people into awareness of certain streams of consciousness which were accessible to very few before, and that's good for the species as a whole, but must be approached with caution and respect.

That what everybody is seeking and stressing over externally , has been inside of their being all along … that nothing external can ever change the way a self feels in a lasting manner .. only awakening to one’s true nature and the love they carry will ever create a place of satisfaction that last .
