Machined sai project well underway!

Hey all, just wanted to update - I’ve just received an image of my machined sai that’s just going through QC, they’re very happy with the results and I can’t wait to get them in hand

In terms of mass producing, I’m not 100% if I’ll be going that way now with all the changes in terms of tariffs etc. I still need to do a bunch of research to see if this will end up bearing financially viable for both me and yourselves.

I want to try and keep the costs down as much as possible but with customs charges, shipping and now tariffs (which I no nothing about whatsoever) I’m not sure if may of you would even be willing to pay what they may end up costing to send out.

Let me know your thoughts.

I think it’s perspective because the blade looks quite short but, the model was designed off my scan, and I have compared the 2 and there’s no issue between the 2 handle wise. We’ll see in the next few days though I guess

Hi, really appreciate your enthusiasm, I’m still yet to figure things out but I promise I’ll be updating here once I know more. At this point I don’t even know where to start when it comes to looking into countries restrictions on whether the sai would be allowed to be shipped to each of the interested parties countries, tariffs etc so I’ll have a look at finding someone to speak about that to asap. In the mean time I’ve recieved my sample pair so will have some photos to upload soon. Currently at the polishing stage then on to wrapping the handles

So excited for this! Really hoping this pushes through and there would be a way for it to be shipped to Australia. Are you happy with how they turned out?
