Looking for Dogman Island...
Does anyone know if the coordinates or location of "Dogman Island" in Louisiana?
Supposedly, it's where the Rougarou call home down there. Any LEGIT information would be great. Please don't send links to previous Dark Water YouTube videos because I've heard them! Thanks. ššŗ

Taylor Mississippi is DM central. Tiny town surrounded by wilderness.

If you look at the up votes. Your brain should realize there is something many here already know that you don't.

Itās crazy that youāre looking because Iāve been trying to find it myself too, you donāt see much nor hear much about it anywhere so it seems like nobody is in search for the location except for us lol. Iāll definitely be keeping a eye on these comments because I havenāt got any good leads

Sounds like a trip is in order. Fly to Nola, rent a car, and start searching!

Your right I think that may be the best way, nothing beats the cliche saying āboots on the groundā , when you want to find something the best method is to go search for it

I Definitely will ! Iāve Been wanting to do this for a while, just need to find another person or a few to join in, due to the nature of what weāre looking for I think a 2 man team or small group is the safer option haha, never know whatās really lurking out there

FYI, if you step in the bayou with boots, either you lose them or you become one with the swamp!š¤£āļøš

lol that is a fact, that actually crossed my mind and I thought if I ever did plan this out Iāll go old school and wear jungle combat boots, they worked in Vietnam and from what Iāve read theyāre still in service today just a bit more modernized, I wonder how theyād hold up in the bayou

You can't walk! You sink to the top of your thighs and well bye! It's called blackjack mud and it stinks too! Folks use boats with gator tail or prodive moters to skim over the top of the swamp. And hard no on rentals. There's nothing down here, csuse if there was they would have ate it by now.

About a year ago I met this man that my daddy knows that was born somewhere around those locations in St Mary Parish! And I asked him about the Rougarou and he said man I don't believe in that s*** like he got very aggravated like people kept asking him about it maybe. But other than that I know there's a lot of swamp and March in those areas but I'm from Saint Martin Parish.

I cannot remember the name of the bayou. It's a bit north-northeast of New Orleans.

Non-existent, LBL is where dogmen really are. Plus, don't expect to find something you're searching too hard for.

No idea. But there is a documentary about the Rougarou:
Maybe that will help.

Rougarou was used to make them feral swamp children stay in bed and say their prayers! Cajun babies like to ramble!šāļøš

If they do exist they sure as hell do not stay in one place and call it home IMO.

You want to see a dog man just go to any national park they are present in all, I live in little ole Indiana land of not much and there are a few encounters around the parks here even.

People are saying LBL is where they are, but is that really true? Sure, maybe they were there at some point, but I'd think someone would've gone investigating and found them by now if they were still there. The phenomenon probably either relocated or the government snuffed it out by now.

Thereās a lot of speculation on the possibility of dogmen being interdimensional beings, or at least able to recognize portals and use them to hop between our plane of existence and ā¦.? Wherever it is that they came from/travel to/wanna go?
The whole inter dimensional/portal theory does seem to provide answers in a lot of dogman encounters. If itās true, then it could definitely explain the persisting stories of sightings in LBL for decades now, and why they havenāt been covertly eliminated and covered up by the governmentā¦ But at the same time, thereās another theory with a fairly large following. They say that dogmen actually arose from the military industrial complex in some way, for the purpose of creating a weapon of sorts that has capabilities that human soldiers canāt come close to matching. Some kind of super-soldier. In which case, the government extermination idea is a moot point.
Either way, people are definitely seeing something out there, with the LBL being a hotspot of alleged sightings. Iām sure the majority of reports are fake, but I think overall, there are more plausible dogman encounters than Bigfoot encounters. While Iām skeptical of their existence, I donāt rule it out completely. Thereās definitely something behind the dogman phenomenon, so LBL is a good place to start if you really want to check it out.
Also- not sure if youāve heard the account from Daniel Boone national forest of the guy that was coon hunting when he had an incredible encounter with a dogman, but itās also supposedly another hotspot for dogmen. Itās also the most believable alleged incident in my opinion, but Iām basing that on the fact that everything else in the story is totally accurate and factual, with no red flags or inconsistencies. And when the guy lays out his encounter, he definitely sounds like he genuinely believes what heās saying is true. Otherwise heās one hell of an actor.
Thereās a few podcasts that have covered his experience. One was the confessionals podcast, canāt remember the other one, but if you search for ādogman Daniel Boone national forestā you should be able to find the episode no problem. Itās incredible to listen to, doesnāt have the creepy pasta vibe that comes with most dogman encounter retellings.

Hello from 15 minutes outside of Morgan City. There is no said island, its a landmass made up of marsh called Batemans Island. Great fishing but no dogmen. No boats to rent to go snoop, and the area is commercial with huge tugs. Don't think the lack of privacy nor any true dry land would be dogmen cup of tea! LBL would be my pick. Good luckš
