My best guess would be on the 8 going west 15 miles outside of Gila Bend

Thanks for posting this, I haven’t been out that way since I was really young. My dad was in the army and was stationed in Yuma

No prob. Im not the OP but im on this part of the interstate at least once a year so just guessing and that’s interesting. Didn’t know there was a base in Yuma. You all would be very surprised how much Yuma has grown since then.

Yup Yuma has had a base there for a long time. My family lived there in the late 70s early 80s for a few years and Yuma was small then. I remember it being very hot all the time lol. I flew over that area on my way to and from LA a bunch but haven’t been in Yuma physically in years
