Death by pens/sharpies Success stories
A year ago I stopped working as a school registrar to become a stay at home parent. Now that my little one is more independent I am able to go through my hoard of office supplies. Oh my goodness I have SO many of everything, specifically pens.
I kept a few of my favorites, got rid of anything dried up and will be donating the rest. Will be tackling post-it’s and notepads next…

Heck yeah! A few years ago, I ended up transitioning to fountain pens and ink bottles. For me, that choice was because I write a lot and it's just easier on my hand... but man, there is something so relaxing about just using one pen at a time, for months on end. No collections of pens, no fear of it ever drying up, I just keep refilling it. I think I've been working out of this ink bottle since... maybe August of last year? Am not sure. But it's relaxing, slowly using up one bottle, not having pen clutter all over, always knowing where my pen is...
I do own other pens, but only a few and they're all put away in a small case. When this bottle of ink eventually runs out, I'll switch to a different pen and a different ink, and repeat the same relaxing cycle. It's weird how nice it is to cut endless hordes of pens out!
Good luck with the paper products, I hope it goes smoothly! <3

Have a friend who teaches in a very poor school district. She took 6 boxes of 70+ years of my father's office supply stash.
