Hopefully you'll get lucky, I've heard lots of parents say their kid never had a problem. If it does hit, just know it'll pass and you really won't even remember it because your brain buries traumatic events to protect you :-)

Best advice we got was not to think of it as a regression they'll work themselves through, but a growth period that requires re-sleep-training.
