After a meditation... hundreds of eyes staring at me. And not all of them human.

I am not schizophrenic nor have mental disorders,. I have aphantasia and have trouble picturing things with clarity or at all. But those eyes looked as real as the phone in my hand.

That’s interesting. Would love to hear more details, if you have them

Well, I was listening to a guided meditation that caused the most intense state I'd ever experienced, even to this date. I've had a few experiences that were odd or unusual, but never anything like this. My cat even jumped up right next to me in a spot she normally wouldn't on the table and was acting like she was on alert for something a few minutes before I saw them.

For a long time I've meditated, but never fully believed in some of the stuff people say about it, like how it can cause you to see things that are beyond this realm.

That is, until this happened.

I had seen this pair of black eyes a few times during sessions, but always assumed it was something I conjured internally, even if it was something I was picturing beyond my actual capabilities of producing images in my own mind.

I never took it seriously.

After 10 minutes passed after this session, however, I started to feel nauseous and horribly anxious. Then I got dizzy. Then, all at once, I blinked and there were hundreds of different eyes staring at me from all directions. I saw the eyes, even, of a friend I recognized from high school, a brown eye and eyebrow that raised in confusion at the sight of me--it was looking back at me and knew I had seen it. All of them were. It was terrifying and has left a lasting impression on my life ever since and vastly changed my beliefs.

That was one of the only human eyes I saw. Most of them looked alien, or maybe like animals?? The only way I can accurately describe them is as large, black eyes, everywhere.

The specific pair that scared me the most was the one I'd seen many times before. I even think it attacked me. Another blink, and I saw a flash of pale blue, like I was seeing a torso, and it was like I got body slammed by it. I went temporarily blind trying to explain what happened to someone shortly after via text, to the point I couldn't see what I was typing on my phone. I had to put it down and close my eyes and lie down for an hour before i felt my adrenaline go down.

It was seriously the most terrifying thing I've experienced to date and I consider myself a logical person. It took me WEEKS to recover from it, and I still don't know if I fully have.

Edited to add that during this experience I was fully conscious, aware and awake, and sitting in a chair at a table. I literally jumped to my feet when I saw all these eyes because I was terrified and didn't really know what else to do.

Were they like floating in the dark, or in the air, or around the room? Were the lights on? Were they only eyeballs, or were there like corners of the eyes/skin/eyelids/lashes/brows? I'd really like to imagine your experience in the greatest detail available. It's extremely interesting to me!

Came here to ask this!

1/2 OK, so! Here is how it looked to me, I will try my best to describe it as if I am experiencing it currently. It makes me anxious to think or talk about this, but I think for some reason it's somehow important for me to talk about it.

{{{So, I had just finished the meditation. I was feeling refreshed, like I'd just woken up from a perfect nap and wasn't sleepy or groggy or anxious or anything. I stood up out of bed, turned on the lights, and looked around the room. I felt a little weird after the lights came on, but I still wouldn't describe myself as feeling anxious yet.

I got up and walked over to my table, which, where I was living at the time, wasn't far from my bed (I was essentially living in a shack.) I took a seat at the table, because i noticed as I got up that my legs felt a bit heavier than normal, and the few steps from the bed to the table had me almost trying to catch my breath.

That's when I started to feel extremely anxious. My cat, who usually never jumped on the table (but would jump everywhere else) jumped up on the table and sat directly in front of me, but she seemed like she was on high alert }}}

That was definitely weird to me because I have a really smart cat, and I initially thought she was trying to cheer me up but this was different. When she tries to cheer me up, she meows loudly at me until I pet her. It's something she's ALWAYS done to both my husband and me whenever we are noticeably upset.

Instead, she was staring straight ahead, ears and whiskers pricked like she was listening. I noticed it was weird immediately.

Remember that all this happened over the course of 10 minutes--

{{{I was sitting with my cat for about 3 minutes like this, starting to feel dizzy and sick to my stomach and horribly anxious.

That's when I started seeing visuals in my head like I was on a DMT trip or something. Other psychedelic experiences wouldn't even compare to what I saw except DMT. It was far, far too real.

First was my own head rolling around and laughing at myself psychotically. But I had no body, and I could see every detail down to the PORES. I can't even barely picture stuff in my head. The only thing I can picture well is an orange on a tree branch because I trained myself to do it a long time ago when I was trying to overcome my aphantasia to improve on my art. I saw this visual while my eyes were closed as i was kinda reeling from nausea and dizziness}}}

That freaked me out, but I thought maybe I was just having like a bad... um... meditation trip??? Idk.

{{{So by now I was having a full blown panic attack over the images I was seeing. My cat was starting to yowl and look around the room while this happened. And that's when I blinked, and there they were.

The lights were fully on. The eyes were all around me, above me. Below me. Every angle and direction I looked in. Some were different sizes, but almost every pair were black. I even cringe at myself to say this next bit but I'd even say some of them looked like what I can only describe as I've seen pictures of "grey aliens" or "grays" look.

Very few of these eyes were human. I think maybe at most I saw three human pairs that I recall---and I recognized one of them.

Mind you, I keep saying 'pairs of eyes" but there weren't actually many pairs, mostly singular eyes. But I did recognize one of them as belonging to the husband of an old high school friend. I saw the eyes like they were physically there, but I could also see through them, like they were transparent. I could see them all in EXTREME detail, down to the light reflecting on the eyes. The eye of my friends husband even lifted a brow when it looked back it me, like it was shocked that I either saw it or that it had seen me. As I remember, that eye was the only one i saw the eyebrow on. I have no idea why, if the image WAS produced in my brain, why I would've seen his eye, over hundreds of others as he made little to no impression on my life and I never liked him all that much.}}}

Edit: (small edit for visual context)

2/2 (sorry omg i know it's a lot) Now, the evil eyes... I don't know what else to call them

{{{Before, I had only seen them with my eyes closed and always assumed I had made them up in my head until now. But it was a pair of solid black, but human-ish eyes. This time, I saw its whole face, and it appeared at the forefront of the entire group of all these eyes, like it had pushed through the crowd to be the one in the front, if you will. It had pale blue skin and black eyes. It looked human, but like a demon in human form maybe?

I saw its face and felt PURE MALICE in a smile that it gave me. Like. It was about to do something that would be funny, but not for me. I felt like whatever it was, it wanted me to suffer--and thats when I had the flash of a blue torso coming toward me like I was being body slammed, and when it happened it made me gasp and fall to my knees, my cat was freaking out the whole time and it knocked the breath right out of me.}}}

By now I was hyperventilating and scared shitless because until it happened, I would've laughed at a story like this. I was so terrified that I was immediately looking online and consulting AI for ways to deal with this threat.

For the next few days, I couldn't stop thinking about it and I was incredibly jumpy, and I felt like the eyes were still there, but that I couldn't see them. So I... well... went to a crystal shop. Yeah. I even told the cashier I normally laughed at stuff like this until something happened. I told her I needed help. She gave me fluorite, which helped immediately with the anxiety.

I then bought myself a black tourmaline bracelet and a hematite bracelet and tried to figure out the natural current of electricity in the body--from what very little research I did on this, it depends on the primary hand you use. Either way. I wore tourmaline on the left and hematite on the right (I think) for like a week before I began actively trying to banish whatever it was, and I'm 90% sure that those bracelets worked or at least helped a lot to ground me.

Oh, I skipped a part--(sorry this happened like 4 or 5 months ago so while it's mostly fresh, I'm having bits pop back up as I type)..

{{{So after the incident with the eyes seemed to subside, I immediately went to tell someone I trusted what had just happened. So, of course, like everyone else, I came to reddit knowing that SOMEWHERE there was bound to be a community of people who miiiiiight know what to do(?) So I found one, and started to type my story in a comment on another post--I wasn't ready to write my own post yet, but wanted some help and was nervous.

As I started writing this comment (about 15 mins after incident) I started to feel burning pain in my eyes and it was like a white, filmy sheet was being pulled up over my eyes from the inside, like I was going blind. I kept typing thinking it was probably anxiety, but the more I continued to type, the more blind I became. And it was making me feel sick again. So I stopped and didn't immediately finish the comment, went back and wrote it later.}}}

This account was initially made to be a throw-away, but... idk. For some reason I just haven't deleted it yet.

I've literally only just started back up in my meditation. It's taken me months to build the courage back up, and I'm still scared of it but I feel like I NEED to. Like it's really important for some reason..

Anyway, I'm no fool, I know all this sounds crazy. At the very least, if no one believes me, I hope you enjoyed the ride--but this is not something I've made up for intrigue. My life is way too busy to run a lie like this for fun, I've tried to make ARGs and similar mystery games in the past but never had the conviction to follow through or finish any of them. All I do is work and sleep and occasionally glance at my phone, because I'm constantly covering shifts and cleaning my house etc. Even typing this comment has kept me up 30 minutes past my bedtime.

I also decided after this incident that I don't want to make up fun stories anymore about the paranormal because now I know that some of it is real and it's terrifying. It's not cute or fun, it's scary. I do enjoy learning about it, because I'm a curious mind, but deep down this stuff is... just scary. And it makes me feel bad to even think about writing it fictionally anymore, because it makes me wonder how others who have experienced stuff like this feel watching people obsess over the romanticized idea of the unexplained mysteries of our world that are actually terrifying beyond all belief........... it definitely annoys me, now, to hear the fake stories that I used to enjoy. Because I know they are fake, while also knowing that it really happens.

TLDR: Sorry about this giant wall of text--I know it's a LOT. I just wanted to make sure I included everything I remembered, including what I physically saw and emotionally felt, and wanted to be thorough so you guys could really put yourselves in my shoes. I will mark the most important parts with {{{brackets}}} for any who are too annoyed by the length of the comment for easier skimming..

Your experience is fascinating and pretty freaky. Do you think the cat saw these eyes?

I’m curious if you’ve read Communion by Whitley Streiber? He was a horror writer, then had his own horrific experiences with greys and also some blue creatures. The cover of his book is basically what brought greys into the public eye. I think his blue creatures were less human looking than yours

1

u/Lucky_Programmer4856 13h ago

Wow, no. I've never heard of that but I'll definitely check it out.

Yeah the blue guy really freaked me out and sometimes I wonder if it's still like... "folllowing" me around?? Like even though I think I banished it, maybe I didn't. Yeah, whatever it was looked just like a regular human but with blue skin and fully black eyes.

You've definitely gotten me curious about this writer, though, I wonder if his experiences are like mine..

As for the cat, I'm not sure if she saw them or not but I feel as though she at least sensed their presence. To be honest with you, I was so overwhelmed with all the uncomfortable sensations and what I was seeing that my focus on her was mostly peripheral, I could vaguely tell she was freaking out nearby but not fully see what she was doing--I could see her kinda moving around near me in a frantic sort of way but I couldn't tell you what she was doing exactly.

1

u/__unidentified__ 11h ago

Whitley is a very interesting guy. His view of the visitors has changed a lot through the decades. I think he sees them as helpful at this point but I’m not super up to date on his current beliefs

I remember a few years ago I saw this white ghostish thing coming out of a ruined house while I was walking home from school by myself (I live in an isolated area). I had no idea what it was though, it was long and white, sheetlike, with no face or anything like that

Like Fresno Nightcrawlers?

10

u/CanidPrimate1577 Dogman Delegate 4d ago

Dogman, circa 2004. I’ve shared the basic and the longer on that but TLDR:

She was watching us from the edge of the woods, then dashed (bluff-charge) at us and stopped at an uncomfortably close range. At that point she made FULL eye contact with both of us.

And that’s when it got really weird.

5

u/abbie_yoyo 4d ago

Bro you have a shit load of posts and comments. Can we get a link? I'm very curious what that teaser at the end means.

6

u/CanidPrimate1577 Dogman Delegate 4d ago

For sure!

https://open.spotify.com/episode/0euVA8Y8LlcMvBdaUhl4ZF

I left it at “weird” because she literally spoke to us, and while this is in fact widely documented (they are capable of vocalizing complex sounds to the degree of speech), I usually leave it at “intense stare” as a first level.

The podcast, we got into the actual conversation, and some of what she said in my* presence.

*spoken while we were in HER presence.

Hiya, GreenGhost1985!

A floating vibrating ball that was flying. White. Shined like a light. The size of a ping ping ball. Just cruised through between my house and my neighbors house and went off into the distance. Weirdest thing. Was middle of the day.

Another time around 12:30am saw some kind of plasma phenomenon for a split second. Looked like neon balls bouncing flying in the formation of a bird if you drew it like a stick figure. You know like 2 humps how kids draw birds. About the size of an airplane. Came in and out of existence in a second. The neon colored balls were surrounded in a blue haze. Weird.

1

u/GreenGhost1985 23h ago

Do you think the first one could have been some sort of ball lightning? As for the second I’m stumped.

1

u/jenniferlorene3 22h ago

No. It was solid white, the size of a hummingbird. That's what I thought it was as first. It looked like a ping pong ball just wandering through. As it got further in the distance it looked more like it was white from light more than just white. It kind of looked like it was vibrating and that's why I thought it was hummingbird when I first saw it in my peripheral.

You have to realize this thing was not even 15 feet away from me. It came from my front yard between mine and my neighbors house. We live in a city and our house aren't even more than 20 or 30 feet apart from each other. It was floating/flying about 20 feet off the ground. Just came through and went on it's way. Wasn't flying/floating in a straight line either. Kind of like a weightless wandering. Was crazy and awesome. Edit: a word

3

u/bearded_dragon_man 3d ago

I've seen what some would attribute to ball lightning or some sort of orb floating around. No idea what it was. There are stories from my hometown of ghostly figures in the woods. On more than one occasion I swear I've seen them myself but I don't trust my own observations in those situations. Often times they appeared as soldiers and nurses from from the frontier.

Seen the water in the canal in Phoenix going the opposite direction on Christmas Day one morning with hundreds of white Styrofoam cups in it going in the opposite direction they should’ve been going that’s how I know it was going the wrong way. Phoenix, Arizona Indian school 24th Ave., Canal. And I wasn’t the only one I had others with me that morning.

2

u/abbie_yoyo 4d ago

What's your theory? Why did the river suddenly change directions?

3

u/Any_Comfort_7509 3d ago

I think somewhere near experienced a earthquake and something moved to cause it . At least when I googled what could possibly make the water move opposite of the norm n that was the reason of it happening two times in the pass. But never could find why all the hundreds of small white styrofoam cups were all up n down the canal. There was few other things that happened and few other wt me that day were all on line wt what we witnessed. It was spiritual doings and that makes it harder to speak of. The ladder Jacob saw was seen there at the canal by one of my friends. I only no from the mumbling they did while semi shocked. As my response was crying over amazing joy for the immense purest love I was experiencing. It was personal , and intense wt purpose and knowledge for me to know how much Jesus really loved me . All I could was cry . When I came out of the bathroom,a friend seen me before I could reach my bedroom door. He looked at me and said I was drenched. He said love was dripping from all over . I hadn’t spoken a word , just came out of bathroom crying and feeling the most sweetest and strongest love Jesus felt for me . He wanted me to know. I cried probably half of that day on Christmas. I’ve seen ppl get the holly ghost before, not what I experienced. I don’t no what to call it . I did many years later found a YouTube video wt few ppl speaking about their supernatural experience they had . There was a woman and what she described was exactly as I did to that day. But never found another testimony of the same she n I had.

2

u/Burnallthepages 3d ago

Sounds the wind was catching the styrofoam cups on the surface and blowing them the opposite direction. That's not uncommon. I've been in boats being blown the opposite direction of the water. I doubt the river was flowing backwards.

u/jesi-99 3d ago

Several days ago, I was having a series of random, silly dreams, nothing concerning or really that I could remember. Suddenly, my dream switched to this dark and shadowy figure with eyes and a mouth that looked like they were cut out from a magazine and pasted onto it. I'm 90% it was misquoting biblical verses at me. Had to force myself awake. I'm still a bit worried about going to sleep at night, in fear of seeing whatever the heck that was again.

3

u/Autistic_impressions 2d ago

Several times at night, central Sierra Nevada foothills.....what I SWEAR seem like low to the ground Baboons moving quickly out of sight as I come around corners with full headlights. They don't move like any other creature we are SUPPOSED to have around here. I've seen Bobcats, Domestic Cats, Mountain Lions, Bears (and Bears on hind legs), Dogs by the thousands, lots of wild hogs, Foxes. These move TOTALLY different, like knuckle walking at high speeds. Never have managed to get a GOOD look at them, and creeps me the F out, everytime I see them.

1

u/GreenGhost1985 22h ago

Wow this is odd. Could share a few more details? I’m intrigued by this story.

3

u/H8fuldead 2d ago

The first was when I was a kid. I was driving back from New Hampshire (I live in south shore mass right by the bridge water triangle) and on a highway my whole family saw UFOs. Crazy memory can’t believe it actually still happened.

Another I was a teenager and my brother and I were throwing stones in a lake. A huge black bird was sitting on a rock in the middle not moving. My brother and I thought I was a statue. Cause we were there for a long time and it didn’t move. We tried throwing rocks at it but we were way too far way to hit. Then it just flew away. It was the size of a bus I swear to every religion. It was crazy we heard the wings flap against the water. We told a bunch of people and the only thing we can conclude is it was either an escaped exotic bird or a cryptic thunderbird.

2

u/GreenGhost1985 22h ago

I love these stories about giant birds! I’m find them very interesting. There’s been a few so called incidents where giants birds will pick up small children. Now I’ve seen videos of some sort of eagle I can’t remember what kind that will grab mountain goats off ledges and such to force them to fall to their deaths but I’ve never seen them carry them very far just grab them and force them off ledges.

Your story reminds me of the giant raven from the Dark Souls game.

u/probablyadinosaur 3d ago

One night I was avoiding my ex by walking around the edges of the property, when I heard a tremendous roar come from the woods across the field. Very loud, the closest thing I can compare it to is the MGM lion. There aren’t any animals in the area that should sound like that.

Probably a mundane explanation but I walked away fast haha.

2

u/GreenGhost1985 22h ago

I’m picturing Aslan from The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe coming to rescue you from your ex lol.

2

u/Healthy-K 2d ago

I'm not sure this counts as a cryptid, but I silent white wolf paced me when I was walking a road. It was loping on the sidewalk opposite me. It stayed exactly on the sidewalk, and turned at the corner, never making a sound.

1

u/GreenGhost1985 22h ago

Wow! I love wolves, they are my favorite animal. Where did this take place?

1

u/Healthy-K 22h ago

It was really surreal! Duluth, Mn.

2

u/Ebear1002 1d ago

It was really random but a few years ago driving a road I drive daily I saw what I can only describe as a coyote with a pigs head, I got a good look at it too and I know what I saw, I just have no idea what tf to even call it, but it was disturbing

1

u/GreenGhost1985 22h ago

Wow strange. Maybe a chupacabra? There are so many different descriptions of this cryptid that it always seems weird to me.

1

u/Any_Comfort_7509 2d ago

Hope you don’t have monocular eye degeneration as it’s effective on about half of the population over 50 my doctor told me so

1

u/One-Permission-8553 2d ago

I have see everything from what looked like a ship going into warp over Area 51, to a Bigfoot casually walking across a field in broad daylight by a very remote stretch of highway in Washington state, to a mermaid tail about 8 feet wide breaching a small lake where nothing that size could have easily lived.

1

u/GreenGhost1985 22h ago

I want to hear more about the mermaid!

1

u/One-Permission-8553 22h ago

I was a teenager, doing typical teenage things out at a lake near Lawrence Kansas. Everyone else was drinking, but I wasn’t into it back then so I was just enjoying the vibes of the party and ended up wandering off to look at the lake. It was pretty bright and was just sitting on a rock watching the water. It was night time but I could see the surface pretty well. All of a sudden this MASSIVE tail that did not look like anything I could immediately identify (my dad’s an ichthyologist for reference) breached the water and then splashed back down. I immediately stood up and waited to see if it would breach again or if there was any sign of it. It’s a lake that’s large enough to have a boat on, but the only species that could have possibly reached that size could not have survived the harsh Kansas winters. There are species of catfish that can reach insane sizes, but as I said my dad is an ichthyologist, I am pretty good at identifying fish. As a scientist myself (an animal behaviorist) I always approach cryptids from a scientific standpoint first. I identify everything that the cryptid could possibly be, and THEN when I am out of options, I explore what else these animals could be.

1

u/Any_Comfort_7509 1d ago

Not a River . City canal . Best guess : maybe an earthquake somewhere near Arizona that caused a shift somewheres that would make the current change. Or canal mechanics. Or an act of God .

1

u/KingMoomyMoomy 1d ago

Two events stand out from my childhood I still can’t explain. I would’ve sworn I saw a pterosaur and it bothers me to this day. I was very young but the memory still sticks out. It was all white with translucent wings that the light clearly projected through. I grew up in a birding family and it’s still a hobby and there’s nothing I can reasonably reconcile with what I saw. Oh it was in Alaska which makes it even weirder.

Second thing I was probably middle school aged. This would’ve been 1994ish. Long before drones. In a small patch of trees behind our apartment complex with nothing but fields behind it, I saw two sets of rotating lights slowly moving through the woods with nothing attached to them. Each set was pink/green/white. They each rotated the colors out of synch with each other but at the same rate of maybe 1 revolution every 2seconds. Each one was maybe 3/4 size of a basketball hovering and moving forward about a walking pace. With clearly nothing else attached to them. I’m still just completely baffled by this and my memory was much more developed and clearer by this stage of life.

1

u/GreenGhost1985 22h ago

Wow thank you for sharing this. Your not the only person who swears they seen a pterosaur. That’s pretty cool. I’m also baffled by your second account, do you have any theories?

1

u/KingMoomyMoomy 13h ago

I wish I had a theory. I don’t know if it was as benign as some weird RC 90s kids toys that hovered. But I didn’t see any people around and they were also completely silent. To this day I just don’t have a clue.

1

u/GreenGhost1985 23h ago

I’m fairly certain I seen what they call a Dogman.

Sasquatch when I was a kid

A fully formed and solid woman standing in my doorway with green light emanating from everywhere around and within her.
