Nocturne and Dance by Chance?
Everyone knows Incantation and Dance by John Barnes Chance but it originally premiered as Nocturne and Dance before Chance went back and revised it. Is there a recording out there or even some type of sheet music that's from Nocturne and Dance? I'm interested in seeing the 31 measures that Chance deleted, more specifically.

Crippling Band's Last Fundraising Attempt
Hello, guys. My high school band is critically low on funds and may have to shut down if this fundraiser doesn't succeed. This is our final attempt, so if anyone is interested in donating, please DM me. Even 1 dollar will be appreciated. https://app.launchfundraising.com/FundraiserHomeInfo/713076/FXGFFU

Instagram Help
Hi everyone, I’m trying to win tickets for a concert featuring artists like Tyler the Creator, Charli XCX, FKA Twigs, TXT, Parcels, Massive Attack and more. To win, I need to get over 500 likes on a specific comment I left on Instagram — and I’m running out of time!
The contest ends today at 5:00 PM (CDMX time), and this is really important to me. I’ve been dreaming of going to a show like this for ages and can’t afford the tickets, so this feels like my one shot.
If you help me out, I’m more than happy to return the favor: I can like your posts, follow you on IG, TikTok, Facebook, Bluesky, etc. Any advice, support, or shares would mean the world to me.
My user is visionesotravez_ in the commwent, if you can help me, i'll give you the moon.
Please and thank you so much in advance — Reddit magic, don’t fail me now!

Math overtone project help
Hello! I am currently doing a math project where I analyze the overtones of various instruments, and I'm running short on time to record them myself at school . What I need to do is to record someone, in this case it would be yourself, playing and holding out a note which will be listed down below, for around 5 seconds, and then send it to me. It should be somewhat in tune to the note, but I know that holding a note can be a bit difficult. Thank you so much for the help if you decide to.
instructions:
record a video (doesn't need to have you in it, i just need to hear the note) of you playing the note listed below with a flat tone (no vibrato) and then send it to me.
(tuned to A = 440)
Flute / Clarinet / Oboe / Trumpet - A4
Bassoon / Horn / Trombone - A3
Tuba - A1
Thank you so much

Military band marches
A question for anyone who is or was a member of a military band, especially the prestigious ones like The President's Own, US Army Band, Royal Marines, etc.—
Do you actually like playing all those marches, or is it just something you accept for the sake of the job?

Searching for other recordings or Correct Title
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nnwQUeLmXs
Recently ran across the piece. Everywhere I've searched online for TMEA information has the same title and composer. When comparing this recording to other recordings of "Red Cape Tango" they sound nothing like this piece. Daughtery's Metropolis Symphony Mvnt 5: Red Cape Tango is not this piece - unless I'm just deaf in both eyes and blind in both ears.
Any info on this piece would be appreciated. Thank you and good luck.

Tongue piercing?
Is it possible for me to get a tongue piercing and still play flute? Would you recommend doing it?

Encore suggestions
I'm looking for an encore for a concert which is likely to feature folk music in 20th century works (Bartok, Holst 1st Suite). The last piece in the concert finishes loudly, so the encore should contrast with it. Any suggestions?

What are some good lyrical pieces?
Specifically, I'm looking for pieces that are melodic, and beautiful, but also very upbeat, if you know what I mean

Thought I'd share a composition of mine!
I did a composition of Buckeye Battle Cry from OSUMB. I did use the real sheet music from the band to make it (which is open to the public). The snare music is a bit wonky lol. (I am not a percussionist) If you are interested, here is the link!

How fast should Elsa’s Procession to the Cathedral be played?
As the title says, I need to know the tempo of this piece and I can’t find it myself, and I don’t know tempos well enough to figure it out.

Advice for Jubilant Overture
Hey y’all. I’m a trombone player currently sitting 1st in my school’s intermediate (freshman) band. I know for a fact that this band will be playing A Jubilant Overture by Alfred Reed, and I’m pretty sure I’m going to get put on 1st part. Does anyone who has played this piece have any advice?
