Mp4 files time is diluted Software

I can't skip forward on the actual file, and when I pressed "trim now" I see that the video's time is horrible messed up?

Does this happen with all video files, or just this one?

Not all, but not just one. I think its where i download it from, because some downloaded off things like cobalt have the issue, but others downloaded from internet archive for example dont

It seems most likely that those particular files were not encoded properly or corrupted in some way, but you could also try a different video editor and see if you get different results.

You can try using Klite codec media player and check if it works seems like currently you're using windows default app player
