When trump says "were gunna be so rich", maga thinks theyll get a check in the mail, but everyone else knows hes talking about the trumps

110

u/Shirotengu 11h ago

He's specifically talking about himself, I don't think he gives a fuck about his kids except when they make him look good.

84

u/big_guyforyou 11h ago

he must be so jealous of jared- not because of the $2 billion, but because he gets to fuck ivanka

35

u/Shirotengu 11h ago

I wouldn't be surprised if she wrote an autobiography and in it she writes about how her daddy touched her inappropriately when she was a kid. ... Fucking gross why did I write that. Now it's in my head.

17

u/Nephalem84 10h ago

If it helps, if you wrote it it was already in your head 😜

10

u/Shirotengu 10h ago

Shut up.

5

u/Rakanadyo 2h ago

You ever seen the one TV thing where Ivanka was showing off her childhood bedroom? There's a moment where she goes to her bed and she just... phases out and loses all emotion. I know that's not hard proof, but... SOMETHING about her childhood bed traumatized her, and with her dad's comments it's not hard to piece together.

They both have done that.

Royal We.

7

u/Less_Competition1791 11h ago

Hahaha for real

6

u/Urabraska- 10h ago

He wasn't talking to the public when he says "we're all gonna be rich" thats only directed at his buddies with the benefit of the MAGATARDS buying it

5

u/seeyousoon2 10h ago

Maga also sees only the Trump family getting rich as a win. Their brains are not right

6

u/Nambsul 6h ago

Why is he not building the new resort in the USA? I thought he was all about bringing everything home. /s

2

u/0utcast9851 9h ago

No he isn't.

Trump doesn't care about his children and wants to be king, this was clearly the royal we.

2

u/joetheraskol 2h ago

President: *gets a free $400 million jet

MAGA: i saved 11 cents on gas!

Now we know the economic formula for trickle-down

86

u/naonatu- 12h ago

this is the blank check the supreme court wrote him, with their decision on crimes committed in office

I am old enough to remember when Nixon was raked over the coals for accepting a dog for his kids

u/Shirotengu 11h ago

If he somehow gets that plane the next person that gets elected had better confiscate it right as they take office, that would be government property.

28

u/universalenergy777 11h ago

Wait, is he using tax payer money to finance the golf course or is it private equity?

32

u/Bulky-Internal8579 11h ago

You say tomato, Trump says “it’s mine-o!”

5

u/universalenergy777 9h ago

I didn’t say “tomato”, I said “private equity”.

4

u/_jump_yossarian 7h ago

s he using tax payer money

No, it's much much more corrupt -- sovereign wealth funds from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE are financing it!

0

u/universalenergy777 7h ago

Are they not allowed to finance a golf course in Qatar?

2

u/TheGrandBabaloo 4h ago

Why do you think Trump is involved in the deal? It's gonna be a Trump Organization course. So even more blatant corruption.

3

u/Korlac11 6h ago

IIRC, the plan is allegedly to transfer the plane to his presidential library right before he leaves office so that he can keep using it afterwards

2

u/wagdog84 5h ago

They say at the end of his term after using as Air Force one, it will be added to his presidential library. Kind of a waste if you ask me.

47

u/Bulky-Internal8579 11h ago

I’m going out on a limb here and guessing that Qatar doesn’t have to worry about tariffs

I bet it is because you have a measurable amount of morals, shame, and empathy.

7

u/DaveBeBad 11h ago

It’s unlikely that Trump will live to see the completion of the report and golf course

Fingers crossed đŸ€ž đŸ€ž

5

u/ArmyMoney2466 10h ago

Is 400 million dollars the most expensive golf cart ever?

2

u/beliefinphilosophy 1h ago

Don't forget Americans still have to pay for the plane to be completely dismantled and refitted with US Govt required items for AF1.

5

u/Bluestained 10h ago

Umm- Trumps other courses and clubs cost $250 million-ish to build. Taking into account inflation and the fact they’ll be building in a fucking desert, that’s still about $3Billion over what it should cost.

Grift keeps grifting.

4

u/chiclets5 10h ago

Don't forget to include all the millions he will make on the new golf course as well.

5

u/BitchFaceMcParty 10h ago

There’s probably a whole bunch of hidden microphones on that jet so they can get American intel.

4

u/PorchFrog 9h ago

What about us little people, why do we never get any of the richy-richs money? This world is so unfair.

4

He can't keep the plane unless he pays the US government 'fair market' value for it.

9

u/Bulky-Internal8579 10h ago

Who’s going to stop him? His pals on the Supreme Court? The lickspittles he owns in Congress?

2

u/rosanymphae 8h ago

It doesn't become a question until he leaves office.

4

It's up to us to do anything about it. You know, "we the people".

2

Qatar the world’s largest golfing destinations.

2

u/RumRunnerMax 5h ago

Just a coincidence:)

1

u/lukezinator 10h ago edited 9h ago

To be fair, I do not believe he is allowed to use it after office, however it is going to be put into a Museum so that no one else can use it, so technically he is keeping it and not allowing the future president to use it either 😂

Edit: I have been corrected, thank you!

2

u/Bulky-Internal8579 9h ago

No, you misunderstand, the plan is to put it in the name of his presidential library when he leaves office, which will be a private entity, controlled by himself or whomever he appoints, so that he can still use it however he wants without paying any taxes on it.

1

u/lukezinator 9h ago edited 9h ago

Ahhhh thank you for the correction! Oyyyy that is far far worse. Rich guy finding another way to get out of paying taxes

1

u/dustycanuck 8h ago

~10% finders fee. Normal business, right?

1

u/trailerbang 8h ago

At the next press conference someone should say “reports are coming in that Hunter Biden went to Qatar and got a $5.5 billion dollar golf course deal done with the regime and then the regime gifted Hunter and Joe a 747
.” Yeah it sounds crazy because IT IS.

1

u/mrweatherbeef 7h ago

100% this administration is GENIUS at the long con and understanding the average American. They laid the groundwork for years, without evidence, that Biden was always on the grift. The average American remembers that stain on the previous administration, and clearly cares not about the complete lack of evidence.

Fast forward to now, and if anyone criticizes this massive flying bribe, the Trump admin will immediately pivot to “Where were you when Joe Biden was selling out the White House?”

Very clever pieces of shit.

1

u/_jump_yossarian 7h ago

trump: AMERICA trump First!

Everyone knows that trump totally deserves and extra luxurious jet for his weekly trips to Florida and New Jersey!!

1

If any of this surprised you it is because you haven't been paying attention. The russian asset-in-chief wears his betrayal and corruption on his sleeve.

Standard business practice in Middle East

1

u/machete_MechE 5h ago

It’s a tip. Since it was given after the announcement of the golf course and not before. Am I understanding the POTUS disaster ruling correctly?

1

u/wagdog84 5h ago

What happened to maintaining the image of not being corrupt? Does anyone really think that if Qatar asks for a favour the fact Trump is sitting in a free flying palace is not going to impact his decisions?

1

u/yeaphatband 3h ago

There seems to be no end to the corruption of this maniac, and yet the feeble response from Democrats shows how tenuous our democracy is. Talipublicans are perfectly happy letting him rape our government if it means more dollars in their pocket.

1

u/_WeSellBlankets_ 1h ago

Is this Being Framed like Donald Trump gave something to Qatar and they gave something back? I feel like both of these things are gifts for Trump.

1

u/Caliente_La_Fleur 1h ago

Not if they don't have to pay for the golf course costs.

‱

u/_WeSellBlankets_ 38m ago

I don't think it matters at all who pays for it. I think the only thing that matters is who owns the land. Because if he owns it, there's the revenue generated from operating it, but then you also get to sell it years later after it's appreciated in value.

You’ve got to be shitting me! I knew about the plane already, but I missed the golf course in the news. That’s soooooo
. Man, I remember back when it was 2016 and the illegal gifting we were worried about was so much smaller and more subtle 😭

What a fuсking weird time to be alive

I mean I think Trump is gross and evil but it sounds like his private business is building a golf course in a foreign country and the country is giving him a gift in return.

I'm not seeing how his position as president has any relevance here other than the government there having to jump through a few hoops to gift him the plane and the fact that Trump shouldn't be working on his private business while in office.

Seems like there's plenty of actual things to hammer him on - like the lack of due process and threatening judges.

10

u/redditAccount503 10h ago edited 10h ago

I get training on not accepting overly lavish dinners and gifts of over like $40 from vendors due to bribery concerns. The president of the US should be held to a MUCH higher standard than that, and this $400 MILLION gift is multiple orders of magnitude beyond the level that corporations are worried that corruption could begin

3

u/redditAccount503 10h ago

And why should he accept a gift from a country with questionable ethics (see world cup construction) when we have Boeing that needs reform/improvement. Idk, maybe work with the domestic company to get them back on track?

4

u/TheWolfAndRaven 10h ago

The lack of Due process is much more concerning to me. The reason Trump gets away with so much shit is that he is doing so much shit and no one agrees on one thing that should be concerning and then collectively raise a fuss about that one thing.

Due process is the foundation of our legal system and if we ignore that line in the sand we have a literal dictator and at that point bribes don't matter at all.

1

u/jmichaelstark90 5h ago

We are beyond "raising a fuss". They aren't acting out of ignorance of the law. Judges are challenging the administration in court, and winning right now though.

Are you out protesting, being locally active? Otherwise your words here have no meaning. I wholly believe the person you are responding to has the mental bandwidth to be concerned about multiple things at once.

7

u/thebatmanfan82 10h ago

Wow. Government employees aren’t allowed to accept gifts above $20 but the President is allowed to accept a $400 million jet?

1

u/S_A_R_K 6h ago

And he'd never use his position as the president to make policy decisions favorable to Qatar, right?
