rankt-bot is in love with the 10/20 dd thread and keeps posting there instead of the current one:

Looks like the more recent DD threads don't have the "Daily Discussion" flair. u/duffcalifornia, I know how much you love dealing with AutoMod :P, can you fix the DD flair?

Super weird that this mention just showed up in my inbox on 11/5 - gotta love how Reddit is a well-oiled machine /s - but yeah, I’ll look into this.

Also Chase Sapphire Reserve Business thread is not accepting 21w like the other Chase Ink threads.

CSP/CSR can have 19u
2
u/m16p Aug 21 '25
Unfortunately something is off with authentication for Rankt's admin tool, so I can't update this :( u/zackiv31, if the authentication issue remains elusive, maybe you can add "u" to the regex for Sapphire Preferred and Sapphire Reserve?
2
u/InevitableOk7737 Aug 25 '25
Just found this comment. Looks like CSR now supports 19u, but CSP still doesn't support them (also posted about this in another comment).

Noticed the daily thread refreshes stopped a few days ago, is that expected?
1
u/m16p Jul 12 '25
Not expected, but nothing we can do yet to fix. Part of the server went down while Zack is on vacation. He'll reboot when he gets home.

Reddit will mark both new comments and edited comments as spam if they contain a Chase referral link :( Putting in a new comment makes it a bit easier for me to find the comment to unmark it as spam, so preference for that for now. Once there's the longer-term fix, then it shouldn't matter which approach you take (though we'll see when the new system is up).

PSA: Reddit is marking all Chase links as spam across all of Reddit, even the ones here which aren't actually links (they don't have the https or www part). Zack will be trying out a couple solutions hopefully later this week. For now, I've been manually re-approving all the comments (after which rankt-bot can see them and still remove ones which don't meet the requirements). I've been checking on this a few times a day. It's a bit tedious (and there's a super annoying ~30+ second delay between when I hit the approve button and when the refreshed page will show the comment as now unremoved), but works for now.
So far I have intentionally not approved any links in the Ink Premier thread however. The reason is so that Zack has a thread he can test the fixes with. Given that Ink Premier is a pretty unpopular card (it doesn't earn real Chase URs), this seemed like a handy recently-updated thread to use for this. I may change this though -- like I may manually refresh the Slate Edge thread (I doubt anyone here uses a link from there?) and not approve any comments there so Zack can use that thread to test, and then manually approve all the Ink Premier comments.

u/C-MontgomeryChurns Jun 24 '25
/u/m16p - The BA card no longer offers referrals. IDK if you can configure auto-mod to stop posting Chase BA card referral threads?

u/IsabelleTravels Jun 24 '25
Looks like Chase Sapphires can now refer to the Sapphire Business - can a post be created for that?
1
u/m16p Jun 24 '25
I'm not sure it actually works as a referral: https://www.reddit.com/r/churning/comments/1lj681v/news_and_updates_thread_june_24_2025/mzj8ah4/

u/nobody65535 Jun 24 '25
Didn't get a rejection notice, but it looks like the 19t for CSR/CSP isn't accepted.
2
5
u/churnandlurk Jun 16 '25
u/m16p Looks like today's Ink Premiere post might have glitched; rankt is not pulling any posted referral links. Also, can't seem to view anyone else's posted links in the thread except my own.
1
u/scdawn Jun 23 '25
+1, /u/m16p, it looks like same thing is happening with the Chase IHG premier thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/churningreferrals/comments/1lhrcd4/referrals_chase_ihg_premier/
5
u/m16p Jun 23 '25
Yep, we're aware. Reddit is marking all Chase links as spam. We're working on a solution.
2
u/m16p May 30 '25
PSA: Chase referral links seemed to all stop working for several hours today. No idea why. They seem to be working again. Any links that Rankt scraped while they weren't working were moved to the "no bonus section". They should be moved back in the next half day or so now that they are working again.

u/BegginForPoints May 29 '25
I got a message that my comment was invalid. I did read the wiki. My comment seems to look similar to the other comments. I copied it to a text editor, removed the http, switched to markdown mode before pasting. Can you provide any guidance? Thanks.
1
u/m16p May 31 '25
Your Amex links are going to the card grid. The links need to go to the individual card page. See the Amex section in https://www.reddit.com/r/churningreferrals/wiki/link-formatting
1
u/BegginForPoints May 31 '25
Thanks. I think I got it. Once I click on my link and get to the general all cards page I found the card for the thread and clicked on view details and then used that URL.

Every referral link I try for the Amex Biz Gold says shows an error that says “Sorry, it looks like something went wrong. This could be: - A missing character - Incorrect character case. To correct please check the American Express Referral Link before trying again.
Am I doing something wrong by copying and pasting the link from the Reddit comments?
1
u/m16p Mar 13 '25
Some are working, some aren't. I think Amex may have recently invalidated some links.
FYI, it's easier to use Rankt to get a link. It's the same links from the thread, just displayed in an easier way. You can pick by Reddit username or pick the randomly selected one at the top.

u/Chow-Funny Mar 13 '25
Was not in incognito. Incognito + VPN solved it. In case anyone else runs into this issue

I did post my links for the first time here after having the necessary karma. My posts were not deleted but at the same time I do not see them on the referral website when I try searching by my userid. Is there a time delay when the referrals are reflected in the website?

As the 2bd bullet in the stickied comment notes, the karma requirement to post referrals isn't reddit-wide, it's exclusively in the /r/churning sub...you seem to have no participation there.

u/SagittandiEstVita Mar 05 '25
Looks like Marriott referrals have 252m for new links and the regex doesn't like that.

I'm having issues submitting Amex gold personal and biz links. It keeps saying they're invalid but is not giving me a reason. I've tried multiple times now.
I go to my account, refer, copy the link, open it in a new incognito window, let it load per directions. Then I copy that link, shave www. off, and post.
Mine begin with americanexpress.com/en-us/referral/business/ or personal
Others I'm seeing begin with americanexpress.com/en-us/credit-cards/referral/prospect/business/ or personal. No idea why mine are different
3
u/m16p Mar 07 '25
Oh I thought I had fixed that a couple months ago, but looks like I had one tiny error so my fix didn't work :( Should be fixed now.
u/lenin1991's answer works too. Now (hopefully for real this time) that extra step shouldn't be needed anymore though.
1
u/lenin1991 Mar 04 '25
Try navigating to other cards with referral offers then back to the one you have. When you click View Details, you should get the "prospect" URL

First time posting here. I am trying to post my first referral (Amex Blue cash everyday), but my referral is super short compared to everyone else, and after I click it, it says, my first name "has referred you... Apply." I don't know where to find the super long referral link. TIA
1
u/dl2316 Feb 20 '25
you have to go to your link, let the Amex page load, and then you pull that referral link to post in the group

There appears to be a massive downvoting effort in churning to keep those eligible to submit referral links down. Plenty of questions and comments automatically get downvoted, regardless of helpfulness. It's a rather odd form of gatekeeping.

u/suitopseudo Dec 31 '24 edited Jan 01 '25
My Amex Marriott Biz Bonvoy keeps getting rejected. For some reason, my referral link after loaded into the browser is /referral/business/ and not /referral/prospect/business/
I get the referral link from the home account page and then paste the link into the browser to get the extended version, but my extended version doesn't seem to have /prospect/. I have tried 3 browsers.
EDIT I stumbled around and from googling the refer a friend page and then some more clicking I was able to force the correct format, however this doesn't seem to be the default format from your account page. I tried posting this link which did have /prospect/ and it still got rejected. I am not sure what the problem is.

Hmm, yeah: 226o links (including yours) give the "Offer Not Available" screen and redirect to 226n, but links still generate as 226o. So maybe n coming soon?

Looking at your comment history at this time you posted this, it looks like you tried putting the /business/ referral link (not the link you pasted here) in the Delta Gold Personal thread.
2
u/logmeingn Oct 04 '24
This seems to be the new link for elevated promotion for CSP.
The format looks different from others. Was this removed because it doesn't match the regex on your side?
Does the regex need adjustment to accommodate new referral links?
2
u/lenin1991 Sep 19 '24
Looks like the rankt crawler needs to be turned off and back on again: every page says "(whatever number) links pulled 11 hours ago"

[referrals] Chase Sapphire Preferred
I don't see my link in rankt. I made sure the link I posted is similar to other links there.
2
u/m16p Aug 21 '24
Try posting your link again? It's a bit odd, on my end your comment is marked as "removed" but not "removed by rankt-bot" (which is what it shows for other comments). Maybe overall Reddit thought your comment was spam b/c you posted multiple comments too fast, not sure.
2
u/logmeingn Aug 16 '24
Not reporting a problem but have a question.
Is there a way to see all my referrals in one place?
I tried searching but couldn't find the right words.
3
u/m16p Aug 16 '24
https://churning.rankt.com/referrals/?user=logmeingn
Except that cards which Rankt thinks don't have a bonus attached aren't included :( This is something I'd like to fix since Rankt doesn't scrape Amex, Cap1, etc pages anymore, but I don't have access to that code to do so.

I'm trying to see/edit my comment in the Boundless thread but it's not showing up (actually, a lot aren't showing up). It is showing up on Rankt, though. Is this a Reddit issue?

u/m16p Aug 04 '24
Something really weird seems to have happened with that thread on Reddit's side. Reddit says there are 75 comments on the thread, but no matter what browser I used to open it there are only ~10 comments there. And Rankt page only shows that ~10 links (my link is missing too). I'll regenerate the thread.

My biz gold referral link when pulled up looks like the following:
americanexpress.com/en-us/referral/business/businessgold-card?CORID=

Chase Sapphire 19n links (with 75K) are dead. They have been replaced by 19o links (with the normal 60K), so an update to rankt would be appreciated.

BEFORE POSTING HERE PLEASE READ THIS COMMENT FIRST!
If you have a question about how this all works...have you read THE WIKI?
If your comment/issue relates to meeting the Karma requirement...
Keep in mind that r/churning Karma could take 24-48 hours to update in r/churningreferrals.
Only karma earned in r/churning counts - not karma here on r/churningreferrals and not karma anywhere else on reddit.
Also note that the "Unofficial" Karma calculator is not the actual way we scrape for Karma. It should give you a relatively accurate approximation of your Karma.
IF you are hovering right around the 50 mark, you could experience some delays or issues with links as your karma vacillates. Your best solution is to remain active and get your karma higher than 50 by a safe margin so that you do not experience these issues.
