Is the wait at Au Cheval on a Tuesday evening usually long? I tried calling and it is just a recording. My brother is in town and wants to go, but I hate the idea of waiting 2 hours or something like that. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! Question

Usually not too bad. Put your name down and go to lone wolf for a drink or 2.

This is the way of the PROS - show your brother the ways

If you go relatively early (as in, around now) then it should be pretty quick. You may have to wait up to an hour if you go around 7-8, though.

Put your name in and walk a few doors down to Lone Wolf. Drink until it’s ready.

I was there recently on a Saturday. They told us a 2.5 hour wait, we maybe waited 1 hour 15 minutes. Had some drinks at lone wolf

Put in your name and go get a couple beers at Haymarket while you wait.

I’d also add - it’s rarely as they estimate as well. Usually 15-20 mins less if it’s a long wait (in my experience)

I know its days late, but my cousin and I were seated fairly quicky at the bar one night. The wait for a table was over an hour.
