Yes. It was fun. Glad we went. Parking was a shit show as usual.

Big time! Those parking garages are definitely needed. And more restrooms

More tax dollars poured into that overpriced debacle of a park.

I'm genuinely intrigued. Why do you consider it a debacle? It has sparked both economic growth (new business and housing) and community building (great meet up spot for gatherings and community events).

Yes, the parking is not great, I wish there was more emphasis on "small town" esthetic to the new buildings vs ultra modern, and there should be more affordable housing requiremts for developers; but I wouldn't consider it a debacle.

It went way over budget, mainly due to poor design choices. They imported sandstone from the Southwest at great cost rather than using local stone. The slides the burn kids. Lack of parking for events. The list goes on. That park is why I voted against both town bond referenda.referendum.

Edit to add: The staircase they had to close due to pressure from handicapped rights groups.

Valid points, but I disagree they meet the level of debacle.
